Wrestler Sues Opponent Over Loss Of Testicle

John Miller (a/k/a J-Milz) filed a lawsuit Monday against fellow wrestler Clinton Woosley (a/k/a Guido Andretti) for allegedly kicking him in the groin during a match and causing one of his testicles to burst.

Miller, who is 23, was wrestling Woosley at a Coliseum Championship Wrestling event in Evansville, Indiana last June. Miller says Woosley "went off script" and violently kicked him between the legs.

Miller, who did not have health insurance, owes over $20,000 for a surgery procedure to remove his testicle. He says he faces an uncertain future as a result of the injury.

News On Undertaker And HBK's Upcoming RAW Appearances

The Quicken Loans Arena website is advertising The Rock, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker for the March 12th RAW Supershow in Cleveland. Their website reads, "MAIN EVENT: The Return of The Rock to Cleveland for the first time in over 9 years!! The Undertaker returns to Cleveland for the 1st time in over a year! BUT, with both of the Undertaker's last two WrestleMania opponents…The Game-HHH and HBK-Shawn Michaels, under the same roof…Something's gotta give!"

Bob's Opinion: It is almost identical to the description that is used on the TD Garden's website for next week's RAW Supershow in Boston, which reads, ""Just Announced: The Undertaker returns to Boston for the first time in two years, but with both of The Undertaker's last two WrestleMania opponents, 'The Game' Triple H and 'The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels, under the same roof... something's gotta give. Don't Miss Kmart Presents The WWE RAW Supershow, Featuring: The Rock, as he returns to Boston on the road to WrestleMania!"

Brandon Jacobs To Turn To Wrestling After Football Career?

Brandon Jacobs' appearance on Impact last night may not be the last for the New York Giants running back. TNA President Dixie Carter told FOX Sports that she has spoken with Jacobs about a career inside the squared circle after his football days are over.

"If you watch Brandon on Impact Wrestling, you'll see he has instincts you can't teach and a real talent for this business," said Carter. "We have already been talking about life after his football career and are both very excited about the potential."

People within TNA were ecstatic with Jacobs' appearance and felt that "he got it."

Bob's Opinion: um, he didn't come across that way to me, but then maybe it was nerves.

CM Punk Talks Feud With Jericho, Relationship With HHH, Brodus Clay's Disappearance + More

C.M. Punk was interviewed by Peter Rosenberg over at Hot97. During the interview, Punk discussed the changing point in his WWE career, his feud with Chris Jericho and his relationship with Triple amongst other topics. Here are the highlights:

On the legendary promo he cut on June 27th, 2011: "[I]t wasn't my design to have this as a platform to even continue my career. I was done. That was my second-to-last Monday Night Raw. You know? I was going overseas the next day -- we were doing a tour of Australia and New Zealand -- and then we were doing some TV in Boston and then the pay-per-view.

"So, to me, I was like, 'I'm already on the pay-per-view. What are they going to fire me two weeks before I do it?' I figured they were going to take me off the international tour and there was nothing they could do. There was no repercussion for my actions. So I just went out there and spoke from the heart."

On doing what you feel vs. doing what they write for you: "I don't have to do anything that's written. Here's the funny thing; I don't think anybody has to do what's written. Everybody is so petrified to rock the boat or they're not skilled enough to do their own stuff. People get handed stuff and I truly thunk that across the board, it's a suggestion. It's up to you to put it in your words. It's up to you to do what you want.

"There's been times when I get handed stuff and I say, 'I can't do this,' and it changes the entire show. I say, 'Let's do this,' and they listen to me."

On how he views his feud with Chris Jericho: I think it could be very special. If we handle it the right way. Everybody is so fickle, though. I read online somewhere that someone said they're sick of Punk and Jericho already and the genius about that is that we have done anything yet. It's brilliant that [this fan] is already so mad and so over this.

On smart/internet fans: "More power to them but you can take any one of those people and give them the position of booker and they would lose their mind. They don't realize the intricate little things that go into putting stuff together.

"On top of that, we worry about ratings in this company which, to me, is madness at this point. Ratings don't mean anything expect to the sponsors. Which is why we do it because we want to keep sponsors happy. ... I just think everyone loves being negative. 'Ah! Punk came back too soon. They did this,' and it's like, 'Shut up and enjoy it.' Yeah. I know that sometimes it gets really, really bad. You can be vocal about that. But they don't let anything play out. They almost forget that there's going to be a Raw next week."

On his relationship with Triple H: "It's pretty good, I think. [Laughs.] I mean, you know, honestly, I guess I'll never really, truly know. We have a good, open relationship, I guess. We talk. He's very knowledgeable about the business and he's in a spot that he knows about a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff that fascinates me. I pick his brain about that stuff."

On Brodus Clay getting on TV only to be taken off shortly thereafter: "[Triple H] is in a position and now I'm in a position where I can ask him, 'OK. I don't understand why we put a guy like Brodus on TV and then he's off TV for two weeks. Explain that to me, Hunter.' Then he tells me, and I get it.

"We're not just catering to the people that are probably watching this. [Waves to the camera.] We're catering to a much wider audience."

Bob's Opinion: You can check out the entire interview below:

Shaquille O'Neal Says He'll Wrestle At WrestleMania

Although WWE.com stated Tuesday that Shaquille O'Neal would not be competing at WrestleMania XXVIII, the 15-time NBA All-Star appeared on ESPN Radio's Mike and Mike in the Morning Wednesday stating that he would.

Bob's Opinion: Well now, who should we believe?

USA To Air Rock/Cena Special

The USA Network will air a program profiling the rivalry between The Rock and John Cena on March 26 at 8:00 p.m. It will air again on March 31.

Chris Jericho Cleared To Compete On Raw

The official Twitter feed of the WWE Insider stated Monday: "BREAKING NEWS: @IAmJericho is medically cleared to compete tonight on #Raw. More to come on WWE.com."

Bob's Opinion: Jericho was knocked out during Sunday's Raw Elimination Chamber Match. Later in the show, he was shown backstage being examined by medical personnel.

Hall of Fame Announcement Planned For Raw

Ron Simmons appeared on Busted Open Monday and stated WWE will announce his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame on tonight's Raw.

It has been reported that John "Bradshaw" Layfield will induct his longtime tag team partner into the Hall.

Bob's Opinion: Well deserved, but can think of many others that deserve it more, like RANDY SAVAGE

Backstage News on Undertaker

There is speculation backstage that The Undertaker will show up either bald or with some kind of altered appearance on tonight's RAW Supershow.

Bob's Opinion: That will suck

Praise for Santino Marella Last Night

There was lots of praise backstage last night for Santino Marella's performance in the Elimination Chamber match. Jim Ross took to Twitter to praise Santino:

"Santino 2nite a great example of talent's maximizing their minutes on TV/PPV. Santino's gotten over w/ humor. Fans like him. Simple concept."

Bob's Opinion: Santino is more then "The Funny Guy"...this guy is actually very talented

Batista Discusses Returning to WWE, Turning Down Tough Enough & More

Former WWE Superstar Batista recently spoke with The Sun. Here are some highlights:

Why he left WWE:
"The reason I left was the PG direction the company took, it got too corny for me. I was a hug fan of the edgy era of DX, Stone Cold Steve Austin and those guys. The change in direction really ruined it for me. It's well recorded I'm not a fan of the likes of John Cena or The Miz. It's such a different company these days and not in a good way."

Turning down Tough Enough:
"I've no plans to return anytime soon. I was offered the job of working on Tough Enough, I just didn't think it was for me. I hear it went well with Steve Austin and good luck to them. I need to be excited by a project and I didn't feel that way about Tough Enough."

Returning to WWE:
"If I did return to the WWE, it would be for a run not just a one-shot deal. I'd have to be a constant for them not someone who drifts in and out to boost ratings. If I did I'd love to work with Triple H again or Undertaker. They are the best workers there in my opinion and they'd make it worthwhile to return. The show would have to change though, so I can't see my return being anytime soon can you?"

Bob's Opinion: I was never a Batista fan, and this interview really didn't help that much

The Rock Starting Angle After 'Mania?

As noted before, The Rock is scheduled for the April 2nd RAW Supershow - the day after WrestleMania 28. This isn't confirmed but it's believed that Rock will start a build for SummerSlam that night, schedule permitting.

Bob's Opinion: The idea all along has been for The Rock to do more than one big pay-per-view in 2012.

News on Randy Orton's Injury

WWE's story on Randy Orton's concussion from Monday's RAW is that he suffered a concussion when Daniel Bryan hit him with the World Heavyweight Title but this is likely just a storyline reason. During the match against Big Show when the injury occurred, Orton can be seen getting up and his legs weren't steady, after delivering the RKO to Big Show. Orton got up from the RKO slowly and immediately grabbed his head.

Bob's Opinion: Backstage at RAW on Monday, nobody knew Orton was injured or at least they weren't talking about it.

Report on Atmosphere Backstage in WWE

There is a feeling among WWE officials that there are very few Superstars these days who act like and are main event talents, but the atmosphere is different than what it was a decade ago.

Back then, WWE had it's top main event Superstars but then had guys like The Hardys, Edge, Eddie Guerrero and many others who weren't booked at the top but were working hard and motivated to get to the top. It's said that these days, the motivation level to move to the top isn't there.

Bob's Opinion: It kinda shows on television as well

Mark Henry's Chamber Return Nixed

Mark Henry was brought to Tuesday's SmackDown tapings in Fresno, California to be named as Randy Orton's Elimination Chamber replacement. Later in the day, likely because officials realized Henry wasn't physically ready, the decision was made to have Santino Marella replace Orton.

Bob's Opinion: this should be interesting

Alberto Del Rio Disliked By WWE Colleagues

The Wrestling Observer reports that Alberto Del Rio is disliked by some of his WWE colleagues due to how he carries himself and the belief that his position in the company is unwarranted.

The two-time WWE Champion is seen as off-putting behind the scenes as he portrays himself as a master backstage politician and struts around as a superstar. There is also a perception that he is not over to the level of his sizable push as his matches and promos garner tepid reactions from the audience. Company officials, however, are receptive to the Mexican grappler as they feel he has superstar potential because he's bilingual, tall and has a "great movie star look." His push is also fueled by the company's need for Hispanic stars given the lack of clarity regarding the long-term futures of Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara.

Meanwhile, Del Rio admitted during an interview last week with Bay area sports radio station 95.7 FM The Game that he doesn't like many of his WWE peers. When asked who he liked the least, the second-generation wrestler said that he hates The Miz.

"This is not part of the show. I really dislike that guy. I've tried to punch him in the face several times, not in the ring I mean outside the ring, but he's just like a little girl, he's always running away from me," Del Rio said.

"There's a big difference between The Miz and I, I'm a real athlete, he's just a loud stupid little kid. He's probably one of those guys that was bullied when he was in school, that's the reason he's now oh so loud and he wants to get attention from everybody, but in my case he's the real deal."

Del Rio capped off his Miz rant by saying that he doesn't have many female fans because "he's fat and ugly."

Bob's Opinion: This could get interesting...more as I get it

Ratings Breakdown For 2/13 Raw

The February 13, 2012 episode of the Raw SuperShow averaged 4.14 million viewers for a 3.01 cable rating. The prior week's show garnered a 3.25 cable rating and averaged 4.62 million viewers.

In the segment-by-segment breakdown, the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Debate that kicked off Raw drew a 2.93 rating. From there, Chris Jericho's match against Kofi Kingston lost 49,000 viewers. Backstage segments with John Cena, Zack Ryder, John Laurinaitis and David Otunga lost 24,000 viewers. Randy Orton taking on Big Show gained 93,000 viewers.

The advertised return of Shawn Michaels, with an appearance by Triple H, gained 822,000 viewers for a 3.56 quarter hour rating. The subsequent Dolph Ziggler vs. R-Truth match lost 621,000 viewers. Tamina Snuka's victory over Brie Bella and the angle where John Cena kissed Eve in front of Zack Ryder lost 320,000 additional viewers.

The low point of the show was the advertised main event as WWE Champion CM Punk's match against The Miz lost 139,000 additional viewers to draw a 2.77 quarter hour rating. The overrun with Cena, Ryder and Kane gained 505,000 viewers for a 3.14.
Bob's Opinion: Is Punk's charisma drying up for viewers? you had to know that WWE was gonna blow it with him after HHH and Vince came on tv and stole his thunder

Details On The Miz's Backstage Heat

The Miz has as much heat as anyone in WWE, but it has little to do with him not catching R-Truth during the Six-Pack Challenge on last week's Raw SuperShow. Rather, the animosity is being attributed to his obnoxious behavior as many of his co-workers are turned off by it.

"The feeling is he's like a little frat boy who is loud and has to be the center of attention," the Wrestling Observer says.

It is widely believed within WWE that his work has regressed, both in the squared circle and verbally. When he was low on the totem pole, he appeared motivated and forced management to make him a headliner. He is now back to mid-card status and isn’t giving WWE much reason to elevate him again.

Bob's Opinion: That's a shame because he was really on fire there for awhile

Backstage News On R-Truth's Character

R-Truth appearing more animated in recent weeks has to do with Triple H. The WWE executive wants him performing "silly comedy" as opposed to dancing and rapping.

Bob's Opinion: I like R Truth, I believe he is very talented, but he doesn't have the chops for comedy

Sting Speaks Out - Retirement Rumors, Recent Injury, More

Sting was on 740 The Game in Orlando, FL this morning and spoke about his recent injury and more. Here are the highlights…

On Dixie Carter Saying This Will Be His Last Year In Wrestling: "No, I don't think so. She's listening to what I'm saying to her. I'm saying every year this will probably be the last year and part of it was in the beginning it was kind of like a project. I wanted to see TNA Impact, I wanted to see it succeed like we did with WCW. I hated that being the second rate or second class citizen to the WWF all those years until we launched Nitro and like I said before, everything was history - we became the number one. This has the same feel and I want to be a part of something a little bit like that and I've see us … we've gone from being at the fairgrounds in Nashville, Tennessee period to being in 120 countries worldwide now and the interest in other countries is enormous."

On His Recent Injury: "Yeah, I tore something. I went to make a move in the ring and I tore something on the bottom of my right foot and I think 'oh no I hope it's not the Achilles' tendon'. If it is, then I'm done. Wrestling is officially over with. And that night, I said a few words to the crowd in London and that was part of it. I said I don't know if I'll be back. I don't know what this injury is. I'm hoping it's not serious. The move I was moving around on it, limping around, I could tell … I didn't think it was the Achilles' tendon. Then I thought there's the fascia down there and maybe I just tore the fascia. And that's exactly what I did. I tore the fascia off."

How Long Will He Be Out?: "Well the doctors say 4-6 weeks but it's like I'm just going to stay off of it, take care of it and be back in the ring a week from this Sunday."

Does He Agree with Kurt Angle That 2011 Was a Subpar year For TNA?: "No, I really don't. I don't think it was a subpar year. I think a lot of the young guys have been elevated, guys like James Storm, Bobby Roode. These guys are now making a name for themselves. They're elevating the company. Everything is moving up. We had a very successful trip to the UK. In my book, that was very successful. Again, getting back to the ratings that we have in other countries, Australia, New Zealand, all over Germany, all over the UK, incredible ratings. We've got stuff going on in India now. So, I just see growth. I don't see how it could be considered subpar."

Bob's Opinion: I have always been a Sting fan and this interview only makes that even better

Help Out Jimmy Snuka

Dawn Marie's WrestlersRescue.org is raising $24,000 for WWE Legend Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka's ankle replacement. Fans can text SNUKA to 908-444-0107 to donate or use PayPal on the Wrestler's Rescue website.

WWE Hall of Famer Gives Away Ring

2011 WWE Hall of Famer Abdullah the Butcher appeared on the Wrestling Marks of Excellence radio show and says WWE waited too long to induct him and he should have been inducted decades ago. Abdullah also says he gave away his Hall of Fame ring to his brother. He said:

"I took my ring, my Hall of Fame ring, when they put it in my hand I gave it to my brother. I wouldn't wear it! I wouldn't wear it! 51 years Abdullah The Butcher has been in the business and drew people from all over the world, and they're going to hand me a ring 51 years later?"

Bob's Opinion: then why accept it?

Clueless about utilities

Thanks to Wm Rowe

I was so clueless about setting up utilities when we first moved into our apartment. Luckily my friend directed me to some Curtis Texas Oncor electric information. She knew that I was a little lost in the process and was trying to help me out. It would have been really overwhelming without her. There are a good few providers and I really did not even know where to begin. Once she sent me some information, the decision was a lot easier and more manageable. I am so glad I moved to an area where I already knew a few people. This is my first apartment without my parents and I did not realize how difficult it was to handle all the bills and everything else. All I was thinking about was what colors I would paint the rooms and where I should get my furniture. It was not until the last week before I was going to move out that utilities crossed my mind. I sort of think it is lucky I remembered at all. Either way, I am glad I had someone around to keep me straight!

Waltman & Jannetty In Rough Shape

Here's the video of Sean Waltman and Marty Janetty doing shoot interviews about their careers in WWE, their more memorable moments and more. This is really sad to see their current conditions:

Backstage News on Vince McMahon's Strange Behavior

Numerous people within WWE have been saying for months now that Vince McMahon hasn't been acting himself backstage at TV tapings. The same was being said at Monday night's RAW in Kansas City. There is speculation within WWE that launching the Network and other things are taking their toll on him.

Bob's Opinion: You're getting up there Vince. might be time to slow down

The Undertaker's Next Scheduled Appearance

The Undertaker is solely advertised for the February 20 Raw Supershow in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The official website of the Target Center advertises: "The Phenom" The UNDERTAKER will be live in Minneapolis to confront "The Game" TRIPLE H for the first time in over a year since their last meeting at WrestleMania 27!"

Bob's Opinion: The Undertaker has the best job in the world....work one day a year and get paid more then most on the roster
