You know over the years there have been alot of successful sitcoms that star a stand up comiedian. Stars like, Roseanne, Ray Ramano, Tim Allen and then like. Well I have to say as well as these people did ,and did so from the first episode, it is in my opinion the supporting cast that actually makes the show so good.
Now I recently watch the best of the Drew Carey show and the first season of that show he should be greatful he had the supporting cast that he had, because I havent seen that much overacting from one person since Quaid portrayed Jerry lee Lewis in "Great Balls of Fire"!
Granted He got better as time went on but I am still wondering what the heck he has that he falls into such good jobs. Watch "Whose Line is it Anyway" He does an ok job of hosting the show, until it's time for him to join the improvers at the end. He's just not that funny, and yet the network wouldnt air the show without him.
I wish him luck with "The Price is Right", Maybe he will make a good game show host. Don't get me wrong I am not a Drew Carey hater, i am just wondering how a mediocre comiedian made it to where he has.
