I can remember when we went to work on the restaurant that I once owned and how excited I was to be a part of the actual construction. I was there for it all, from installing the grill to hooking the plumbing to the stainless steel sink.
We have several friends that contributed to the creation of my restaurant, all involved were professional of course, aside from me. It was amazing to see an empty room morph into an actual working kitchen.
Everything put into the kitchen was new, from the tile to the freezers, and it was a true joy to see them in place when everything was finished and everyone was quite proud of the work they had put in after seeing the end result.
There’s not a better feeling in the world then a job well done, especially if you get to reap the rewards of that job, by using what has been created. I got to do just that in my restaurant, and I hope I get a chance to do more projects like this and be allowed to enjoy those finished products as well.
The next time you have a project in front of you, just remember when it’s through, stand back, look at what you have done, and then, enjoy!
