Marilyn Monroe would probably be the the epitome of the word "sex symbol". She is probably the most well known woman to ever hit the silver screen.

Although her death and involvement with the Kennedys overshadow alot of her career she was an awesome actress that could have gone alot further then even she did, if given half a chance and was treated right.
