So now friends, Hulk Hogan is telling people that he was first choice to play the role that Mickey Rourke played and Nick Cage turned down in "The Wrestler".
I have to say this, IF this is true and they had chosen Hogan (why would they?) this movie would have flopped big time. As a wrestling fan I have watched movies and television shows that Hogan has done, friends the man cannot act. but then he couldn't really wrestle either.
His talent was stirring up a crowd and that he did, no one can deny his charisma in a wrestling ring, but as far as being on the big or even small screen in a movie or such, he just doesn't have it.

Yeah, um, that's why Thunder in Paradise is still on the air, because Hulk Hogan is such a great actor. Oh, wait, it's not. Hasn't been since the 90's. I don't think his reality show is either. Maybe it's time Hulk Hogan had an aha moment and realize that his talents lie elsewhere.
