$50 million lawsuit filed by chimp-attack victim

The family of a woman mauled by a chimpanzee filed a lawsuit seeking $50 million in damages against the primate's owner, saying she was negligent and reckless for lacking the ability to control "a wild animal with violent propensities."

Now I understand the lawsuit, I really do, but everyone's focus should really be on our government making it illegal to own these pets.

Whether they are born in the wild or in a zoo they are still wild animals and prone to attacking what they dont understand.

I pray for the victim of this attack and I hope she heals not only physically but mentally as well, I hope she does win something in this lawsuit (although $50 million is a bit extreme).
