NBC Rejects Pro-Life Superbowl Ad

What is this world coming to? It's no secret that the Superbowl is this sunday and it's also no secret that it costs millions of dollars for a 30 second commercial during the game. So pretty much anyone with the money can advertise during the superbowl, well except anyone that believe and want to educate people on pro-life.

The commercial it's self shows an unborn baby in the womb and and asks what if President Obama had been aborted. Since most pro-choice people's arguement is the best reason for abortion is the low income family, without a father present.

President Obama was brought up in poverty, his father wasn't around and his mother was a bit of a wild child and yet he came through it all to become president.

Is this video offensive? Judge for yourself! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2CaBR3z85c

Three Hills Ranch

As a recovering alcoholic myself (I have been sober for 13 years on January 29), I only wish I would have had a place to go to help me on my road to sobriety. A place like Three Hill Ranch would have made it so much easier then doing it alone as I did.

Three Hills Ranch Alcohol & Drug Recovery Is located in Southern California and they offer the a broad spectrum of
Alcohol and Drug Treatment for those addicted to substances and their families. With services ranging from interventions, court evaluations, expert witness testimony, drug testing, and more.

So if you have a substance abuse problem or even if you only think you might, the Three Hills Ranch can help you get your life back on track.

Sayaw Darling!

One of the coolest things that I watched on Philippine television is Wowowee! They used to do Sayaw darling, is so much fun to watch the people having so much fun....enjoy!

The Rumors are Stirring..

Mickey Rourke's "The Wrestler" co-star Evan Rachel Wood is killing the rumor of a romance with the 52 year old actor who plays her father in the movie. She's not only killing the rumor but she is not very happy that it got started in the first place.

News reports have her quoted as saying "I'm upset because I feel disrespected by the press and by Mr. Rourke," and "Just because I'm single doesn't mean that you can take advantage of me. It's unfair that the performances might suffer because of all of these distractions."

She finished her tirade with this; "I'm not attracted to him; he's too old for me. Nothing ever happened and nothing ever will."

Now correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't she romatically connected to freak Marilyn Manson? Just for you who don't know, Ms. Wood is 21 and the freak Manson is 39. Me thinks she does protest too much.

Sounds Like Fun!

For a long time I've wanted to get involved in paintball but have never taken the time to really learn about the game and those who participate in it. I've seen it on TV and know a few friends that are involved , but i never took that step to do it myself, so I decided to look into it.

I found a site on the web called
paintball forums and any question you may have , the answers will be found there, including the paintball threads; paintball news, scenario talk, paintball stores, paintball markers, calendar, and more.

So join me in learning more about paintball and then it's war!

What Happened to the Music Video?

Have you turned your tv to VH1 or CMT lately looking to see your favorite musician or band's newest video? Well then I am guessing you have had as much luck as I have had in finding it. I turn on VH1 and CMT and what do I find? MORE REALITY SHOWS!!

You know, my friends, they will continue to make these pathetic excuses for entertainment until we all tune out! Why? Because right now they are making big money and have a small budget and yes some even big ratings.

I have come to the conclusion that prime time television will never be what it once was , but it could sure be a whole lot better then it is now. I am not asking for much, just some truly great comedy or even mediocre comedy.

I am sick to death watching people build houses, and try to hook up with old burned out rap stars. Give me another "Everybody Loves Raymond" or "Friends".

Please??

Real Life Stories?

I really enjoy watching movies that tell the life story of musicians that struggled through so much to make it professionally and personally. Musicians such as Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and Johnny Cash.

I have to wonder which stories are real though. Take "The Buddy Holly Story" starring a very convincing Gary Busey. I love that movie, but according to Paul McCartney's version there wasn't much truth to the movie. That really disappoints me , but it's not the only one, the movie "Labamba" the movie about Valens seems to be missing some truth too. Such as Ritchie and his brother Bob making up before he died in that dreadful plane crash.

According to his brother, this never actually happened. Which leads to my question, is "Walk the Line" the real deal? The story of Johnny and June Carter Cash. I sure do hope so, because it was an awesome movie.

How about the movie "Ray"? Was it factual? I hope so as well. Here is my personal message to "Hollyweird", stop changing the facts for dramatic purposes. I would prefer the facts, they are informative and much more entertaining!

Got Baby?

Friends, I come from a big (and when I say big, I mean huge) family. I have more nephews and nieces then I can count, most of them range from small baby to toddler, and Uncle Bob has to buy Birthday and Christmas gifts, so I am constantly looking for quality Baby Clothing for an affordable price. Guess what? I found it at an online boutique!

As I looked through their selection I came to a shirt that really caught my eye. It had a picture of an elephant and had the words “lil’ Republican”. I believe I have a few nephews and nieces that would wear them, as we are conservative people, but if your political views vary from mine, well there is a “lil' Democrat” shirt too, so we are all covered!

The boutique has it all, including Baby Boy Clothes ,Baby Girl Clothes , toddler’s clothes, toys and maternity shirts. Looking for accessories? They have all you need, from diaper bags to bath items.

Are you having or giving a baby shower? Register there and be sure your receiving the best! There is really no need to look anywhere else, you will find everything you need and a few things you will just want and you will find the right price as well!

House rejects DTV delay, keeps Feb. switchover

The national transition to digital television remains on track for a scheduled date of February 17, after the U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday rejected a proposal to delay the switchover.

The House vote of 258 to 168 failed to meet the two-thirds threshold required to pass the measure under the rules the Democratic leadership put in place for Wednesday's debate. The vote comes just two days after the Senate unanimously approved pushing back the transition to June 12. President Obama's advisers have also advocated delaying the transition.

I would have to agree with the majority of the house. What would be the purpose of the delay? If people hadnt recieved their converter by now then I doubt that they ever will. Not to mention the cost of stations like PBS that would cost them millions of dollars to maintain both systems.

Be ready America, February 17th is just around the corner.

Spin Offs

Ever wonder where some of your favorite sitcoms sprang from? Well a good number of them were direct spin offs of some of your other favorite sitcoms. Want to know what some might be? well, my friends, that's what I am here for!

Remember "All in the Family"? well it's children ,so to speak, were "The Jeffersons", "Maude", and it's grandchild which sprang from Maude was "Good Times"

Now let's move on to "Happy Days", their spin offs are "Laverne and Shirley", "Mork and Mindy" and the short lived "Joanie loves Chachie"

Some only had one spin off, such as "Cheers/Frasier" and "M*A*S*H/afterM*A*S*H".

How many can you remember?

RIP Billy Powell

Billy Powell, keyboardist with the rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, died of a heart ailment at his condo in the Jacksonville, Florida, suburb of Orange Park, police said Thursday. He was 56.

Billy Started with the band in 1972 and was one of the surviving members of the imfamous 1977 plain crash that took the lives of lead singer Ronnie Van Zant; guitarist Steve Gaines; Gaines's sister, vocalist Cassie Gaines; an assistant road manager; and the pilot and copilot.

He was truly an inspiration to the keyboard players of today much the same that Jerry Lee Lewis was to those of the 50's and 60's.

Among the Southern rock band's acclaimed songs are "What's Your Name," "Freebird" and "Sweet Home Alabama," all released in the 1970s. "Sweet Home Alabama" reached the top 10 in 1974.

You will be missed by true Southern Rock fans...fly high freebird.

The End Coming for Daytime Dramas?

Laugh at me now my friends, because yes I do watch a soap! "Days of our Lives" and the goings on there is enough to make my head spin!

I have watched for a long time, well since the 1980 glory years with the super couples "Patch and Kayla", "John and Marlena", Shane and Kim", "Bo and Hope", and of course "Jack and Jennifer".

I've watched through the bad years when the show seemed to be written by grade school kids and through the sci fi years, remember when Marlena was possessed by the devil? Well a couple years ago I was so excited! Finally Stephen Nichols and Mary Beth Evans (Patch and Kayla) returned to the show after 16 years! The show was going to be great again! Right? Wrong!

Why is it not great you ask, well I have the answer. Because Patch and Kayla are so far back on the backburner that they'll need a map to make it back to front and center! Also, NBC has renewed days for 2 years but the budget must be cut, what does "Days" do? They fire Drake Hogestyn and Deidre Hall (John and Marlena) in order to make those cuts.

Amazing right? The the powers that be keep all of the green young actors and even hire more ,instead of using the proven ratings getting veterans.

They say there are more cuts to come my friends, will this be the end of the daytime soap opera?

For the Fireman

You know friends, I have a deep respect for anyone that serves their country. Not only our soldiers, but also the firemen and policemen that put their lives on the line every day. Plus we can't forget the EMS that saves countless lives on a daily basis.

But these men can't perform those duties properly without the right gear. Well friends, I came across a website where that gear can be purchased and at a reasonable price too!

5.11 tactical series has a full line of gear and now if you buy any two 5.11 clothing items such as
EMS Pants ,you will get free shipping, free return shipping, and a free hat. Now that is a good deal!

Do you know a Fireman? If you do, then thank them for all they do, after all they are great Americans!

Do You Agree?

I was thinking earlier what my choices would be for my top ten favorite movies of all time. I am really bad at picking favorites of favorites so I will post these in no particular order.

Gone With The Wind

Braveheart

Hook

The Wizard of Oz

White Christmas

That Thing You do

Lord Of The Rings

Wow, there are just too many to mention and the ones that I have already mentioned makes me want to watch a movie! hmmm, what shall it be? The Dark Knight? The Apple Dumpling Gang?

They're all good! Keep watching friends!!

I Want This Party!

After forty five birthdays and a few parties to celebrate some of them, I have come to the conclusion that if I am going to have a party that is my idea of a party then I should plan it myself!

I actually had thought I had done it all as far as birthday parties go, from the bar scene to family and friends gathering together to surprise me. Well, the truth is, I would rather be alone with my fiancee and a few friends.

We would go to the beach, play some volleyball, swim and then at night build a small bondfire. Either some music will be playing in the background or we can pull the guitars out and make our own music.

Well friends, thats my idea of an awesome birthday party. I am sure you have your own as well, but if you need some help to bring that party idea to reality then you should go to Celebrations, they can bring your party ideas to life!

If you're in need of a Kids Birthday Ideas or for someone's 50th birthday party plans, Celebrations can help you put together any birthday party with some unique and fun ideas. Perhaps you already have some ideas of how you want your party, Celebrations can give you tips that will make your party even better!

It's your party friends, make it even better with the help of Celebrations!

Mickey Rourke at Wrestlemania?

Well, after some words from Mickey Rourke on the SAG red carpet warning wrestler Chris Jericho to be prepared to get his a** kicked and an appearance by both men on "Larry King Live" it looks as though the actor has changed his mind and now will not participate in Wrestlemania.

Paula Woods told The Associated Press on Wednesday night that Rourke will not wrestle WWE superstar Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 25 in April at Houston's Reliant Stadium.Woods wrote in an e-mail that the Oscar-nominated actor "will not be participating in Wrestlemania. He is focusing entirely on his acting career."

Which as a wrestling fan , I have to applaud Mr. Rourke. Actors trying to wrestle have ruined many pay per views, just as some wrestlers have ruined several movies.

Thanks for the movie "The Wrestler" , Mr Rourke , now it's time to move on to better things.

I Want My TVland!

If you know me then you know how little i like reality shows. Dog the Bounty Hunter? Yeah I do like that, but not much more then that, but that show is on A & E, a place for reality shows. But TVland, Thats where i go to catch the reruns of my favorite old shows.

Anyway, the other night the straw broke the camel's back! High School Reunion? Why, TVland why? Where is my All in the Family or Happy Days reruns?

If it's not bad enough that TVland puts shows like this on the air, then they have to replay them a couple hundred times a week! Enough already! I want the sitcoms that TVland was built on! Give me my TVland back!

Have You Ever Been "Touched by an Angel"?

Well, here I am again to talk about one of my favorite dramas, "Touched by an Angel". It's a wonderful show that has one purpose, to let it's viewers know that God loves them. It was widely popular a few years back and now the reruns are being ran in syndication.

The show revolves around "Angels" Monica, Tess, and Andrew traveling from place to place taking care of the "assignments" that The Almighty has given them. There is a different guest star every week and most of them are really big stars. Some from the movies, some from music and some from the sports world.

When asked why they thought the show was so popular ,the actors (Roma Downey, Della Reese, and John Dye) would simply reply, "It's a God thing"! It would be so refreshing to have television shows like that again with the way the country is going. that's what this country needs, a little more of, no, scratch that. The world needs ALOT more God!

God bless you all and keep watching!

Whose Line is it Anyway?

I was just sitting here surfing the internet when i came across a picture of two men, and I just had to laugh. After all ,these are two of the funniest men in the world! If you had ever watched the improv television series "Whose Line is it Anyway" then you will know the names Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie.

After seeing this page with these to hilariously funny men , I popped a copy of the first season of the show into the DVD player and enjoyed some of the best comedy since Harvey Korman and Tim Conway kept people in stitches on the old "Carol Burnett Show".

For those of you who loved "Whose Line" you can catch it on the family channel at midnight et on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Yes they are the reruns, but reruns you will enjoy over and over again, I know I do!

I guess the real reason behind this post is I am thinking outloud, wondering why no one ever approached these two to do a movie or sitcom together. After all, the chemistry is there, the friendship is there, and the laughter would definitely be there as well.

Maybe someday that question will be answered , but until then i have my "Whose Line is it Anyway?" dvd's!

Is There Hope for the Screen Actor's Guild Awards?

Maybe there is some hope for the SAG awards, this post was going to be a negative review on those awards ,but I saw a few things that did show some promise. There will still be some negative things to say but let's try to start upbeat and positive!

Heath Ledger won best supporting actor for "The Dark Knight", now I am hoping that he got the nod ,not because he passed away ,but because he truly did a tremendous job playing "The Joker" in this flick. If he did win because of his acting job then ,yes there is hope for the SAG awards, if not then well that would explain the rest of the story.

Sean Penn winning for the movie "Milk", why you ask? I'll tell you why, because the "Hollyweird" set want gay marriage passed and since Penn is playing a gay character in this movie, well in my opinion they are trying to make a statement and Sean Penn was in the right place at the right time.

For those of you that know me, know that I am not a fan of Penn , nor will I tolerate him long enough to watch anything he is in. For those who do not know me might ask the question ,why? Let me just say , without going into all of the stupid things that Sean Penn has done politically, I believe Penn is a traitor to his own country, therefore the only time I will waste my time writing or thinking about him , will be to point out the negatives in him.

Expect Sean Penn to win the "Oscar" as well as the movie "Milk" taking the award for best movie as well, and why? For the exact same reasons he was voted to win the SAG award.

Well Done Heath Ledger, well done, you deserve every award that you get for your portrayal of the Joker in "The Dark Knight" and I hope you are now enjoying your reward in Heaven. God Bless!

Where Did All The Good television Shows Go?

Have you sat and channel surfed on your television in the past year or two? Well I have and I must say that if it weren't for reruns of old sitcoms or a few dramas like "Law and Order" I wouldn't see the reason for turning it on.

Reality shows have ruined television! What happened to great shows like "the Andy Griffith show", "All in the Family", "M*A*S*H", or even more up to date, "Everybody Loves Raymond" or "Friends"?

Television was so good back then! I remember planning my evening meal on Thursday nights so i could sit and eat in front of the tv , while watching "the Cosby Show". Now, I just look for reruns of "The Cosby Show".

Unless you have been living in a cave you know that todays television is nothing more then "reality shows" and those "reality shows" are about as real as "Leave it to Beaver"! Everyone knows they are scripted and people are so blinded to the fact that the only reason they are force feeding these shows to us is because they are so cheap to make and lets face it people will do anything to be on tv.

Please America, I dont want "my MTV" I just want my old tv back!!!

Well, it begins...

President Obama has signed the order to close down "gitmo" and a ban on "harsh interegations".

It's time to be afraid my fellow Americans, without those interegations you can expect an attack on American soil within a year. So instead of trying to win the war on terror we are going to pass out daisys to the terrorists.

Be afraid Ladies and Gents , be very afraid!

Golf in Germany

Sitting here in the dead of winter really makes me wish the sun was shining , a slight breeze blowing, and warm air was breathing these words in my ear : Get your golf clubs and let's get to the course!

I'm sure it is the same feeling all over the world , the need for a beautiful summer day ,with a driver in hand and ready to tee off for a day of golf and Germany of course would be no acception.

Golf club in Chiemsee Bavaria offers everything to do with the sport of golf, from a golf school for children to a golf shop that offers all of the brand names, from nike and titleist to ecco.

Life doesnt get much better then when you are on the course but the one way to make it better is if you are good at the sport. Taking golf lessons to learn the game, to teach your child or just to sharpen your game is a smart way to start.

So if you are thinking of learning the game of golf and you are in Germany stop in and take a few lessons, and while you are there check out the golfshop as it is the biggest in Germany , so you know you will find anything and everything you will need for a day on the golf course.

PETER CRISS (of KISS fame) to Appear in New Movie

PETER CRISS will be making an acting appearance in the upcoming film Frame of Mind, set to be released on DVD February 24, 2009. The film is a Detective Drama and centers around a new twist in the President John F. Kennedy assassination conspiracy theories. When Detective David Secca discovers a piece of film showing a man concealing a rifle on the grassy knoll in Dallas, it becomes clear this is an important clue in uncovering the truth behind history.PETER CRISS plays the character Mike, a New Jersey Detective.

Something that I just have to do.

Well it's almost here, Barack Obama is soon to be our president, and before i get started let it be known that He will get the respect from me as My President that President Bush never recieved from the liberal side.

Everyone is talking about this historic inauguration and I am wondering why this inauguration is any more historic then any other that we've witnessed.

Some say because he is our first black president, no he's not. He is bi-racial, so both sides should leave that alone. Stop the thoughts that he is the first black president and stop making racial jokes as well.

Some say because he will save the country from it's self economically. How? In four years? No one could, so dont be too disappointed when at the end of his first four years we are not in a much better a place. (But then they will just blame President Bush , just like they did everything else)

Some say it's because he will lead us to peace. Not if he closes down Gitmo and stops the tough interrogations that has kept us safe from terrorists attacks on our own land for the past seven years. (Thank you President Bush for that)

I sincerely hope President Obama succeeds, I truly do, but if he doesn't ....well we all pay.

May died Sunday of congestive heart failure at a hospital in Lancaster, said his daughter, Deborah May.

Thank you Bob May for providing the fuel to feed a young boys imagination and may you rest in peace.

Gene Simmons had a cow's tongue surgically sewn to his own?

Nope. But it's a great story -- if you have a taste for tall tales.Gene Simmons, bass guitarist for the band KISS, is famous for his demon face paint and his unusually large tongue. It's so long, rumor has it that he grafted a cow's tongue onto his own.But the bovine story is bunk. Simmons was born with the 7-inch endowment (the average human tongue is 4 inches long), and has proudly shown it off in numerous photo shoots. He even named his short-lived lifestyle magazine "Tongue."These days he's showing off even more personal details in his reality TV show, "Gene Simmons Family Jewels

Cincinnati Reds help DeGeneres land Clooney

Ellen DeGeneres has been trying for sometime to get George Clooney on her show and she recently accomplished her mission, with the help of The Cincinnati Reds.

Clooney's pal Noah Wyle told Ellen that Clooney is a big fan of the Reds , since he grew up living close to Cincinnati (Augusta Kentucky to be exact ,My home town)

So Ellen managed to get Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famers Johnny Bench and Joe Morgan to appear and Clooney jumped at the chance.

The show will air on Monday.

Patrick Swayze leaves hospital

Patrick Swayze has been released from the hospital one week after checking himself in with pneumonia, his publicist said Friday.

For thos that dont know Patrick has pancreatic cancer and has been fighting it over the last year.

In my eyes this is a great guy! He works while fighting this devastating disease, he told ABC's Barbara Walters last week that his battle with cancer put him "through hell" while he pushed ahead on a new TV series.

I pray for him and his family , and that he will beat this!

Boy George jailed for 15 months

A British judge has sentenced former Culture Club frontman Boy George to 15 months in jail after he was convicted of falsely imprisoning a male escort.

According to what I read He had this guy handcuffed to a wall hook! Could someone tell me why this "guy" hasn't served any real time yet? I mean how much does this guy have to do before they finally put him away?

15 months? 15 months? He should be going away for alot longer then that, heck, he should have been put away a long time ago!

PayingPost.com

It's winter time now and since my lawn service business is seasonal I was looking for a place to improve my income. A friend pointed me in the direction of PayingPost.com , she told me it would be a great outlet for my creativity and I could make extra money as well.

I also thought, someone has come up with a really great idea, after all there are millions of blogs out there and the internet is only getting bigger, so what an awesome way of advertising one's product and know it is being seen by so many people.

Think about it, would you rather listen to someone who was fed a script with a lot of flash and color or someone that will put the product out there in words that will actually tell you about the product and what it does?

So honestly it is a win/win situation for both blogger and advertiser. The advertiser gets a new venue in which to show their product and the blogger gets to be creative and make money doing it.

But they are not the only ones that benefit from PayingPost.com! You, the readers also benefit! It is so much easier to sit back relax and take in the words of that which is being advertised. You dont have to try to find the bottom line in a PayingPost Advertisement, because it's right in front of you.

Unlike Commercials, magazine ads and such where you have to sift though the smoke and mirrors to get to the actual product, the bloggers will put it right in front of you on your computer screen for you to read at your own pace.

PayingPost also now has a new layout which makes it easier to use, So whether you are an advertiser, blogger or someone that follows blogs everyone benefits from Payingpost.com!

Lisa Marie Presley gives birth

Lisa Marie Presley daughter of Elvis Presley gave birth to twins, and those twins share a bond with their late grandfather as he was a twin as well (His twin brother Jesse died at birth).

Coming from a family with many sets of twins myself, I know what a joy they can bring. I also know all of the work it takes taking care of twins, they can be a handful, well, actually i guess that would be two handfuls.

Some of the coolest memories that I have is of Ricardo Montalban and Hervé Villechaize Standing next to each other and hearing Hervé say "Da Play boss, da plane!" on "Fantasy Island" or as Kahn in the second "STAR TREK" movie.

I know that sounds a bit funny that those would be a couple of the coolest memories, but thinking about those two things takes me back to a simpler time and place. No worries or real responsibilities only fun and fantasy!

Ricardo Montalban will be missed by many, but he will also live on when he takes us back to the days of our childhood.

Thank you Ricardo , may you rest in peace.

You would think...

You would think that as much as I am into movies, television, and music that I would connect with that group of people, when in all actuality I don't connect with most of them. The Hollyweird set (as I like to call them) are way way too liberal for my taste.

No, I did not vote for Obama (though I will respect him as he is my president, unlike the way President Bush was treated), I do not support Gay marriage, I welcome immigrants as long as they come in legally and become upstanding citizens, I do not believe in "global warming" (right now it is in the low 20's here).

I think it is a shame that what we used to call the journalistic community is now only (minus a few like Bill Orielly) a bunch of hacks that support the liberal agenda only (Yes NBC, ABC, CBS ,CNN, MSNBC, ect...)If not for their bias reporting I do believe the election would have come out a bit different and Sarah Palin would not have to have taken the (for lack of a better word) crap that she did thoughout.

Perfect example of the Hollyweird set? Check and see how many Hollywood actors that gave contributions to Al Franken.

God Bless America and I sincerely hope that President Obama succeeds as our President, because if he doesn't, well it wont be pretty.

Tribute To Wrestlers That Have Passed Away

I took this from youtube/electrodinobot , it is very touching. May they rest in peace.

'Hee-Haw' comedy duo member Jon Hager dead at 67

Jon Hager, who performed in the musical comedy duo The Hager Twins on "Hee-Haw," has died. He was 67.

Sam Lovullo, who produced "Hee-Haw" and was a friend of Hager's, said Hager was found dead in his apartment in Nashville Friday morning. He was found in bed and apparently died in his sleep.

Lovullo said Hager had been in poor health and was depressed since his identical twin brother, Jim Hager, died in May 2008.

The twins were born in the Chicago area and lived in Los Angeles before "Hee Haw." They said in 1998 that they had been together all their lives except for three and a half years, after Jon left Los Angles and moved to Nashville. Jim remained on the West Coast, but eventually followed.

Lisa Rinna is being honest about her plastic surgery

Lisa Rinna is being honest about her plastic surgery and sometimes honesty hurts. In an interview with Momlogic Rinna talks about how she regrets using Juvederm but doesn't mind using Botox.

Momlogic: Is there any plastic surgery you regret?

Lisa Rinna: My cheeks. I had Juvederm put in my cheeks. That's what I overdid -- big time. I tried it because my girlfriends did it. I thought: I'll do it! I saw a photo and I was like, "Oh Jesus. That's no good. That's NOT good." What I learned is that I don't really need it. You get older and insecure and you think you need it and you don't. I learned less is more. Keep your skin good. But, I still like Botox. It's great! It doesn't change the shape of my face. When you change your face, you don't look like yourself. Looking fresher is one thing. I look like a freak! I always said I wouldn't change my face, but I did it. I can't not be honest about it. I'd look like a fool. It's so obvious. I don't believe in lying. I used to feel like it was nobody's business. But when this happened, I realized I couldn't hide it.

A Couple Of Favorites

It's been too long since I have been with my Fiancee in the Philippines, and one of the more favorite things that i liked to do with her was watch two television shows.

One of those shows has made it's run but the memories of watching "LOBO" and having my Sweetness translate to me the things that were said and what were actually happening was so much fun.

I would act as if to whisper in her ear and would Howl like a wolf and we would laugh so hard, It's definitely a memory i will cherish forever.

Also we watched the game show wowowee, which i think is the coolest game show in the world (even if they do not have "sayaw darling" any longer). The studio audience is having so much fun as are the contestants.

Planning a trip to the Philippines? When you're laying in bed at night check out some of their tv shows with your sweetie, who knows, you might make some memories of your own.

Lisa Marie Presley defends Scientology

Lisa Marie Presley is expressing her condolences over Jett Travolta's death and defending Scientology, the religion that Presley, John Travolta and Kelly Preston follow.

Presley's MySpace blog on Tuesday read: "I am writing this because I have noticed that for the most part, people and the media have been very sympathetic and respectful, but there are those certain ones that want to use this horrible tragedy as an opportunity to once again, blame and-or attack Scientology."

Elvis Presley's daughter also writes that it's untrue that Scientologists do not believe in medical care and insisted if "a medication will make it better then they take it."

(and Elvis is surely rolling over in his grave)

John Travolta's 16-year-old son dies in Bahamas

John Travolta's teenage son, Jett, died in the Bahamas after apparently suffering a seizure and hitting his head at his family's vacation home, authorities said Friday. A house caretaker found Jett, 16, unconscious in a bathroom late Friday morning. He was taken by ambulance to a Freeport hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Police Superintendent Basil Rahming said in a statement.

The teenager had last been seen entering the bathroom on Thursday and had a history of seizures, according to the statement. An autopsy is planned.

Family attorney Michael Ossi said in a statement that Jett died suddenly on Friday. Publicists Samantha Mast and Paul Block released the statement but could not be reached for additional comment.

A local police source said Jett apparently hit his head on the bathtub.

Jett was the oldest child of Travolta, 54, and his wife, actress Kelly Preston, 46, who also have an 8-year-old daughter, Ella Bleu.

Preston has said that Jett became very sick when he was 2 years old and was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease, an illness that leads to inflammation of the blood vessels in young children. She blamed household cleaners and fertilizers, and said that a detoxification program based on teachings from the Church of Scientology helped improve his health, according to People magazine.

It is unclear whether Jett was taking any medications for his seizures.

The Scientology Celebrity Center in Los Angeles declined to comment. Both Travolta and Preston are practicing Scientologists.

A spokeswoman for Rand Memorial Hospital in Freeport said she could not release any information because of privacy concerns.

The family had arrived in the Bahamas on a private plane Tuesday and was vacationing at their home in the Old Bahama Bay resort community.

"The Travolta family has become like family to us at Old Bahama Bay and we extend our deepest sympathies to them," said Robert Gidel, president of Ginn Resorts, the property's owner.

Family friend and Tampa-based attorney Michael McDermott told the Ocala Star-Banner on Friday that Travolta was "broken up" and noted that "Kelly's very quiet."

"Just say a prayer for them," he added. "That's all you can do at this point."

McDermott said that one of Travolta's close associates was making funeral arrangements in Ocala, Florida, where Travolta has a home.

Travolta, who gained fame as Vinnie Barbarino on the 1970s television show "Welcome Back, Kotter" and the 1977 film "Saturday Night Fever," went on to become one of Hollywood's biggest names. He married Preston in 1991.

A television actress, Preston appeared with Travolta in the 2000 film "Battlefield Earth," based on a novel by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
