TNA Releases Longtime Creative Team Member and Road Agent
It has been confirmed that TNA Wrestling cut tenured creative team member Dutch Mantel and road agent Savio Vega this past week.The releases are said to be no coincidence as Mantel and Vega were both considered allies of Jeff Jarrett. While nothing official has been announced regarding Jarrett's role with TNA, many feel he would be stripped of all power if he were brought back.
According to a well-placed source, additional cuts are in the works, so stay tuned.

Kurt Angle Joining Dancing With The Stars
Kurt Angle’s agent Dave Hawk recently spoke to The Sun in the UK about Kurt being shortlisted for the new season of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.
“Its pretty simple, Kurt enjoys dancing and believe it or not he has the talent to do it,” Hawk said. "Just as Kurt has lightning speed, smooth, controlled and brilliant moves in pro-wrestling, this man can also dance. I had my first real glimpse of his dancing talent at my son's wedding about a year ago. I was really surprised as Kurt can really move. […] I believe with his athletic ability and charisma, he will be a very strong contender on this program."

We have had so much rain over the past two days it amazes me that we are not under water here, oh yeah part of the town is under water.Our anual boat regatta is this weekend and we (Inside Out) are supposed to be playing tomorrow night along the Ohio river, not sure if that's going to happen since it's flooded in that part of the town.

Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke recently spoke to The Sun in the UK about her family and her VH1 reality show. Here are some highlights:On her current relationship with Hulk: "Our relationship is a lot stronger. Dad's definitely changed as a person too. He was always a good dad, but he's been really getting into the spiritual side of stuff now. Getting Back On Track!
It is so hard to get by these days, and I am not only talking personally but it’s hard for everyone out there, including businesses that seem to be closing their doors more frequently now.

TNA-Russo & Others In Trouble With Jarrett Gone
There has been a lot of talk within TNA over how Jeff Jarrett’s situation could both positively and negatively effect those within the company. There are plenty of former TNA wrestlers and employees watching the saga closely, as they believe Jarrett was the main reason they were let go in the first place. TNA president Dixie Carter has a good reputation for reaching out via email or calls to people who have been let go and letting them know that it wasn’t a personal decision and that the door is open for returns. Meanwhile, several current TNA workers are watching the saga for a different reason -- they feel their jobs are in jeopardy. Here’s the latest on the status of several major players in TNA, according to the PWTorch.com Newsletter:Vince Russo: The controversial TNA booker has been telling people he fears for his job and believes TNA president Dixie Carter is on the verge of making major changes. There is plenty of speculation that anyone being perceived as one of “Jeff’s guys” is on the bubble right now. However there are sources within the company who feel Russo will stick around, while Jarrett’s other cronies like Dutch Mantel may not be so lucky.
Jeremy Borash: Borash is also tight with Jarrett, but the feeling is that due to his solid work ethic and likeable personality, his job isn’t at any risk at all.
Terry Taylor: The TNA head of talent relations’ job seems to be secure. He’s butted heads with Jarrett many times, and gained the respect of many within the company by finalizing contracts with several top talents within the last six months. If anything, Taylor could actually gain power if Jarrett doesn’t return.
Scott D’Amore: The former TNA creative member is believed to be on good terms with the company, but still wouldn’t get serious consideration from Dixie Carter for the head creative position if Jeff doesn’t return.
Pat Kenny: The former TNA agent’s name continues to come up in discussion as a candidate for a bigger role in the company. Kenny was a favorite of Dixie Carter and many were shocked when she allowed him to be released.
Matt Conway: The low-profile creative team member is believed to be the only booker who isn’t on the bubble right now. Carter added him to the team to serve as her eyes and ears, and he ended up become friends with the other bookers. DiBiase in Big Trouble
Former NWA North American Heavyweight champion Mike DiBiase, son of Ted DiBiase, Sr., has been issued a warrant for his arrest for failure to appear in Tyler County court on July 14, to make a plea on Class A theft charges. DiBiase was arrested on March 22, in Huntsville, Texas, in the possession of stolen property found inside his vehicle belonging to a wrestling show sponsor where he had appeared on the card the night before.

According to sources backstage at the WWE Night of Champions PPV, Vince McMahon threw a fit in regards to the Chris Jericho and The Big Show versus Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase match, because he thought it went over poorly and sucked as an opening bout.The idea of an opener is to get the crowd settled and draw them in for an exciting show. Vince reportedly thought it put them to sleep.

Hulk Hogan & Linda Bollea Reach A Divorce Settlement
After months of bitter accusations and media hoopla, the divorce of Hulk Hogan and Linda Bollea has been finalized. The terms of the divorce settlement have not made public.
While the divorce proceedings did get nasty at times, things were much more civil today in the Clearwater, Florida courtroom. After the brief hearing, each said they wanted to move on with their lives.
"The war is over," Bollea said after the hearing. "I still love him. He's the father of my children." She acknowledged that the very public divorce was embarrassing, admitting, "It just got out of control."
Hogan echoed her sentiments, saying it was time for him, Bollea and their children to start acting like a family again. "When you're married to someone for 23 years ... you hope for the best .... We just got torn apart." he said.
Hulk added, "I'm a free man."

Octuplet mother Nadya Suleman has signed agreements for each of her 14 children to earn $250 a day to star in a reality television show.

JBL Issues More Comments On The TNA Rumors
JBL wrote on the WWE website on the rumors of him talking with TNA Wrestling:"Vince McMahon gave me an opportunity back in December of 1995 and through WWE everything I have financially has been possible. I would never go to a competitor of any kind out of respect for the opportunity I was given.
I have not had talks with TNA about joining TNA. JBL Shoots Down TNA Rumors
There have been rumors that JBL has been in talks with TNA. JBL shot those rumors down today, via his TWITTER account:"No talks of tna and no regrets on my career-internet rumors are completely bogus. I am happy playing golf and being retired."
Vegas Baby!!
We landed in Las Vegas, and it being my first time there I was so excited at the prospect of seeing the lights, the shows, and of course especially the games that are there ready to be played by a first time player like myself.
We were picked up and taken to the “Stratosphere” hotel and casino and I was so impressed by the lights of the strip, but even more impressed as I walked inside and saw literally hundreds of people playing the slots, blackjack, roulette, and well, there was just so much to take in that I couldn’t hardly wait to get settled into our room and get back to the casino.
Once in the casino, I just had to take a few minutes to take it all in, so I walked the floor looking for a game that I could relate to in some way, I guess I was kind of looking for my own form of luck!
Suddenly a slot machine caught my eyes, it was an Elvis Presley Slot machine and I just knew that was the game for me so I made my way across the room to the game that was sitting there all alone.
With no one playing on that machine I thought to myself “am I crazy to choose this one?” but I played just the same.
Yes I did win several times and I had a very hard time walking away from the game but I had Vegas show tickets and I really was looking forward to that show. So we all made our way to see “The Blue Man Group” and seeing that show was one of the best memories that I have a Las Vegas, what an awesome show it really was!
But I was sorry that we missed “The David Copperfield Show” because he is just so great, well, maybe next time or maybe even “The Donnie and Marie Show”, now that would take me back in time!
I will get back to Las Vegas someday you can count on that, maybe for a second honeymoon with my wife, yeah, that’s the ticket!

A Helping Hand

Every now and then while flipping through channels I will find a rerun of HEEHAW. Now, granted the humor was 100% corn, but still so enjoyable. Really wholesome entertainment and it also showcased the greatest country artists that have ever lived. California Goes After Steve Austin For Back Taxes
According to The Detroit News, on June 10th the state of California filed a $22,024 lien against Stone Cold Steve Austin.
The Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds office has the lien and has the address placed on the home that Austin sold last year in Malibu, which he sold for $2.49 million.

The Latest On The Kurt Angle-Jeff Jarrett-TNA Drama
Here is the latest…- It has been confirmed that Jeff Jarrett and Karen Angle are romantically involved, which has been rumored for many months. Kurt Angle has been aware of the relationship since last fall, while he was feuding with Jarrett.
- TNA is not commenting to the public on the situation, and while it has been reported that Dixie Carter sent Jarrett home, others are saying that Jarrett made the call himself.
- Jarrett reportedly made the call to go home when an issue of custody over the children arose between Kurt and Karen. Jarrett reportedly thought it best to remove himself from his TNA duties during the dispute. Until this time, he and Angle had been "co-existing" backstage.
- While there are rumors that Angle is looking for creative control, others are reporting that there is no major push for a new creative direction or team at this time.

Kurt Angle Says He Won't Sign New Contract With TNA If Jarrett Remains In Power
It would appear that there is something to the anonymous TNA employee's claims on last Wednesday's episode of Bubba the Love Sponge's satellite show that Karen Angle and her children were living together with Jeff Jarrett. It is now coming out that TNA president Dixie Carter ordered Jarrett to go home as soon as she found out about the person's claims, which has been described publicly as him agreeing to take a leave of absence.At Saturday night's TNA house show in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Kurt Angle was telling people that he is going to end up with the booking control of the company that Jarrett had and that he won't sign a new contract with TNA if Jarrett remains in power. No one really know how things will transpire from this point. Angle's contract with TNA is set to expire in September and he has not yet agreed to a new one.
Jarrett was booked in segments on last night's pay-per-view that were either tweaked or removed. The direction of the booking for last night's show was planned before all of this stuff went down, as is television for the next few weeks. However, everything involving Jarrett will obviously have to be tweaked and/or removed as he was slated to further his program with Eric Young at this week's slate of television tapings.
For the most part, the wrestlers are more sympathetic to Kurt Angle on the matter, aside from those who have close ties with Jarrett.
TNA personnel are playing the tape from Wednesday's episode of Bubba over and over in hopes of figuring out the person who disguised his voice and started this messy situation. Before the mystery person in question went on the air, he or she asked for Bubba to disguise his voice with some sort of distorted audio. Bubba did, so there is probably no way of telling who it was that called in.

When they eat it, they break out or get sick. And you know what those people say to themselves? "I can't eat shellfish anymore for the rest of my life." And they're ok with it. But for some reason, when it comes to alcohol, people get crazy. It's getting past that.
I've accepted the fact that I can never drink again as long as I live, and I'm ok with it. And it should be easy when you think about it - some people get allergic to shellfish. I'm happy to see him at this point, to stop drinking isn't as easy as all of that (I am recovering myself) but it sounds like he's got a very good hold on it.
Walter Cronkite Passes Away
The 92-year-old former CBS anchorman died Friday at his Manhattan home of disease involving blood vessels in the brain, according to Marlene Adler, his longtime chief of staff.A private funeral service was scheduled for Thursday at St. Bartholomew's Church. Adler said the Rev. William Tully will preside over the Episcopal service at the Park Avenue church, which the Cronkites attended for many years.
A memorial is to be held within the next month in Avery Fisher Hall at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Adler said.
May he rest in peace.

Four Horsemen Reunion
WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair will be reuniting with the original members of the Four Horsemen at an upcoming NWA Legends Fanfest.On August 7th, Ole Anderson, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, JJ Dillon and Barry Windham will be appearing together "for the first time and maybe the last time."

My Wife's Vacation
Everyone would like to get away from the daily grind or work and the constant bad news coming out of Washington DC and that includes me. Now a trip with my wife would be a welcome change to my every day routine, but I understand that she needs her get away time as well.
I told her that she should take advantage of the Comfort inn rachael ray promo that’s going on now and get away with some of her girlfriends, and yes my friends, she is all for that! So she is now looking into the Girlfriend Getaway Sweepstakes and she is as excited as I have ever seen her.

I am a big fan of Bill O'Reilly, because of his honest journalistic style and in these days you won't find that very many places. That's also why I watch Glenn Beck. Fox News is the place friends.So what i thought I would do is publish Bill's "quote of the day" from his site and sometimes even give you the URL so that you can go further in depth as to what he is talking about.

I believe everyone has been touched by breast cancer in some shape or form, be it a friend, relative, or yourself. There is new research going on all the time though and I pray that there will be a cure soon.
But until then, money is needed for this research and there are different ways that we are going by this. One of the more clever ways that I found is a product called; Bubble Up!

Cap And Trade? More Like Con and Trade!
For those of you that believe in Obama's Cap and Trade bill then maybe you should turn the channel of NBC and listen to the one man that really looks out for us. Bill O'Reilly has been digging into this bill and everthing that revolves around it and this is a direct quote from him:"Global warming is bad, but cap and trade will not affect it very much because China and India will continue to pollute. Big corporations like Goldman Sachs and big guys like Al Gore could make many, many millions of dollars off cap and trade, while the regular folks will pay more for just about everything. Bobby Lashley Announces He Has Signed With TNA
Bobby Lashley announced during an interview with ESPN Radio Wednesday that he officially signed with TNA Wrestling this past week and will be on hand for Sunday's Victory Road pay-per-view as well as next week's slate of Impact tapings.During the interview, Lashley said: "I signed with TNA. It's a big thing because I am fighting and my main focus has been fighting and it still is. I left wrestling so abruptly a few years ago and the fans kind of threw their hands up. I left and they were like, man, what about us? I left at the top of my game. I still wanted to wrestle, but I wanted to fight, so it was like, how do you do both? I spoke with Dixie Carter, the owner of TNA, and she was really, really helpful and she wanted to give me an opportunity to give back to wrestling. With their schedule, they only do four days a month. This week, my schedule is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and I'm done for the month and can concentrate on my fighting. It works out real well."

Ukraine's Culture Ministry says it has banned Sacha Baron Cohen's new hit movie, "Bruno," because it's immoral.
The movie is centered around the adventures of a flamboyant gay fashion journalist from Austria.
The ministry said Wednesday that Cohen's depictions of sexual organs, homosexual intercourse and language are obscene and improper.
And I agree with the Ukraine! Why would anyone (that's not gay anyway)want to watch this sick crap? Where in the world did our morals go? Well, I am going to do my best to keep mine and make my way to heaven someday.

Just Too Much
TVLand is killing me lately. For what seems to be a month now there has been nothing on except Roseanne. Now don't get me wrong, I thought the show, and still do, was a landmark sitcom.People like to give Roseanne a hard time but when it cam to this show, well the comedy was excellent.
What's my problem then, you ask? Well my problem is there seems to be a Roseanne marathon on 24/7! Give me something else, how about some Andy Griffith or All in the Family?
C'mon TVLand make me laugh again, it's been awhile!
Bill Goldberg Slams Vince McMahon On TMZ
During the second segment of yesterday's TMZ TV they had an interview with former WCW Champion Bill Goldberg that goes a little something like this:TMZ: "You ever going to get back in the ring again?"
Goldberg: "Indies I would do in a heartbeat, but I wouldn't work for Vince McMahon if he was the last motherf----r on earth".
They then transition into a shot of Harvey Levin (the show's host) asking what Vince did to piss off big Bill. No real answer is given by the staff except to add "a lot of people seem pissed at Vince I wonder why that is?". For the rest of the segment they basically mock Goldberg by saying "don't they usually have names like Hulk or the Rock? Goldberg sounds like Feinstein....doesn't it seem like a weird name?" One of the other "reporters" on the show informs Harvey he "doesn't wrestle with a yamika on or anything so it's not that weird and I bet you wouldn't say that to his face."

My friends that come here to my page know that I am a recovering alcoholic; I have now been sober for 13 years 5 months and 15 days. Kevin Spirtas Returns to Days of our Lives as Chloe Fights for her Life!
The vengeful Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will almost succeed in her plot to kill Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), landing the songbird in a coma. Craig returns for a few days to hold vigil. Unfortunately for Craig and Nancy fans, Patrika Darbo isn't slated to join her former onscreen hubby in Salem. DAYS would be smart to bring back Spirtas and Darbo full-time and bring their SORAS'ed daughter Joy to town to interact with Mia, Chad and Will. Chloe needs her family!

WWE Hall of Famer Puts HOF Ring Up On eBay
You have a chance to own a WWE Hall of Fame ring as WWE Hall of Famer "Superstar" Billy Graham has put his ring up on eBay. The 2004 Hall of Fame inductee was personally presented the ring by Vince McMahon last year. The winner of the auction will also receive the original letter enclosed with the ring, which was signed by McMahon.
