Alert! Alert!

I’ve written a few posts here about my parents and how they are getting up in age and how I worry that with mom’s arthritis and dad’s COPD that perhaps they should consider living in a retirement home. But since they are dead set against that I have looked into other options and found a Medical Alert System that they could possibly agree to.

All I really want is for the two of them to be safe and protected, so now I will sit with them and discuss the benefits of a Medical Alert System in their house. After all, I don’t live very far and if they ever need me in an emergency this will be a quick and great way to make sure that I am alerted to the problem so that I can respond quickly.

Sounds like a great idea right? I agree it certainly does! I just hope that they will agree as well, it will after all, keep them safe and protected, not to mention take some of the worry and stress away from me. So wish me luck friends, I am about to leave here to sit with them and pitch my really great idea!
