WWE Unifying All Titles

Vince McMahon has gone back and forth on the time frame for unifying the World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE Championship, reports the Pro Wrestling Torch. At times he has wanted the unification to take place within 30 days, but company officials have urged him to wait until WrestleMania XXVII.

Many within the company feel they need to place the titles on the proper people and position them strongly in order to make the unification match a major event.

Though McMahon has come off adamant about unifying the titles, no one has ruled out the possibility of the WWE Chairman having a change of heart.

The Latest On Matt Hardy

Regarding Matt Hardy's present status with World Wrestling Entertainment, both sides remain at a strong stalemate.

Company officials want Hardy to address his issues, but he doesn't want to. Furthermore, they are unwilling to release him at this time because they don't want him joining rival promotion TNA Wrestling.

One company source indicated that the touring schedule has been hectic as of late and when things settle down following Sunday's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, Hardy's situation will likely be addressed.

It was the neighborhood

OK, so I know that your apartment is supposed to be your fortress of solitude in the city, especially when that city is New York City. But I was a little more concerned about my neighborhood this time around when I went apartment hunting.

I just went for teh cheapest one I could find before, but I fell in love with my neighborhood in the Upper East Side. It was so nice, like the places in New York where they love to film movies that aren't about crime. But once I starting setting up my apartment I wanted to make a right decision abotu everything inside it to so I decided to click here when I found a good Internet package and settled on it.

Me and my girlfriend are getting pretty serious so I also had to think about that maybe she would want to move in with me pretty soon, or at least that's my long term plan so I also wanted to find a safe neighborhood in case we're looking to expand our family soon too.

Did WWE Sign A Fitness Model to a Contract?

Rumors that WWE have signed fitness model Melyssa Buhl to a developmental deal have been denied. It appears a Twitter message that said she was "entering in to a contract" was assumed to mean with WWE.

Foley's Book Plugged On Raw

For those that missed it, Michael Cole actually plugged Mick Foley's new book "Countdown to Lockdown" on last night's Raw. It's unlikely that something like this would be a mistake, so WWE obviously doesn't see TNA as much of a threat right now.

The Pacific - My Favorite Mini Series

While the theater of war has been adapted into many different incarnations in film and television, and the exploits of the greatest generation more so than others, most depictions focus on the European campaign. They focus on the invasion of Normandy, the rounding up of Nazis, and the fiery speeches of one General George S. Patton. However, on the other side of the country there were equally incredible battles, fought in the Pacific against the assiduous forces of the Empire of Japan. The Pacific captures the verve, vigilance, and overwhelming resilience of the brave soldiers who helped protect America's naked backside.

Unlike Band of Brothers, where the action was intense and fierce, The Pacific focuses more on the development of characters, primarily through the narrative memoirs of privates Robert Leckie and Eugene Sledge. The best performance by far was Rami Malek's interpretation of Corporal Merriell "Snafu" Shelton, the wise cracking, mean, blithely painted soldier. Each of his lines was delivered with a signature drawl befitting of his look, his brooding eyes outlined in a dark mascara gloom that matched the atmosphere. Well acted, produced and inlaid with dramatic score, The Pacific is my favorite mini series because it eloquently captures the enervating and harsh realities of war. Produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, The Pacific aired on HBO, available for a monthly subscription on satellite tv for a decent price, in case you were wondering how much does satellite TV cost.

Tara Blogs On Early Cancer Detection

Tara posted to her MySpace a few days ago a blog where she takes about the importance of early Skin Cancer Detection and how to avoid it. You can check out the full blog here or read the portion on skin cancer below:

"Second, when I was younger, I was a sun worshipper. WORSHIPPER. I grew up in the desert of Southern California, and I would lay out for hours on end. Even recently, I would tan indoors, because I think it makes me look leaner on TV. Well, that has all caught up to me. I went to the dermatologist because I had a bump on my hip. It turned out to be nothing. But the doctor noticed a mole near my collar bone that didn't look quite right. He cut it off and tested it, and it turned out to be Basal Cell Carcinoma. That is the most common form of skin cancer. He cut most of it off, and next week, they are going to cut out the surrounding tissue and I should be 100% It's it super minor, because they caught it early. Additionally, Tara mentioned on her Twitter that she was taken to the ER last night in New Jersey. Mick Foley Tweeted that she had a "Nasty looking elbow".

Another Title Quietly Retired

Over on WWE.com, in the title history section, the original "WWE Tag Team Championship," which dates back to the 1970s, has been retired. The Hart Dynasty are listed as the final champions. The active titles, which are held by Dashing Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre, have their lineage beginning in 2002.

Living Healthy

Lately I have been thinking a lot about my health and the things that I eat and even the vitamins that I take. After all, I am not a doctor so I’m not even sure the things that I do, is actually helping me live a healthy lifestyle.

So as always when I have questions, I get online to see if I can find the answers. Of all the things that I read when searching the Internet, I found that I really like the idea of living a natural life and consuming things all natural.

McCool-WWE

WWE.com has an interview up with Michelle McCool discussing what it is like being the first woman to unify the Woman's Title and Diva's Title. When asked what it means that there is one title now for the divas, she said "I think it opens up a lot more opportunities. It's sad that it won't be the Women's Championship we are holding, because there's so much prestige with it. But who knows, Trish Stratus retired with it a few years ago - maybe it'll come back again. It's an absolute honor to be carrying the championship on my shoulder. It's a proud moment."

Things are kind of crazy over here at the moment. We were sitting around the dinner table last week, discussing where we wanted to go hiking next. As you know, we have been hiking in Australia and Canada and some of the best hiking we did recently was right here in California. However, we wanted to try somewhere we haven't been before. We heard about Machu Picchu in Peru, it is called the “Lost City of the Incas”. We thought that this sounded like just the place for us to hike. There are 6 of us going, my husband and myself, plus two other couples that we have been on vacations with before.

So we have all been busy getting prepared for this trip. We only have a couple of days left and I am trying to get my list completed. Such as stopping the mail and paper, pay bills, board the animals and of course, the last thing to was find an adt alarm system around New Orleans LA. So the next time you hear from me, I will have been to the top of Machu Picchu and this time I will show pictures.

John Morrison Injured?

John Morrison appeared to have twisted his knee at last night's house show in France, according to a live report. He was seen limping after the match.

SmackDown! Star Suffers Major Injury

Christian has suffered a torn pectoral muscle and is expected to be out six months. He will have surgery this week.

On tonight's SmackDown!, WWE will write him out in an angle with Alberto Del Rio.

Fall TV

Now I've been to Las Vegas a bunch of times. Me and my friends like to go and test our luck out on the slots. Sometimes we win, sometimes we don't. Sometimes one of us wins and the others don't. But there are no hard feelings because we have fun doing it and get to do some great shopping and eat a lot of good food when we're there anyway.

Last time we went though I was having some trouble, but not on the slots. I was having a hard time hearing what was going on around me and hearing what the girls were trying to say to me while we were playing slots. They told me that I needed to look up some hearing aids types because it sounded like I needed some. One of the other ladies that was with me has them and she was having the same symptoms as me and that's why she got hers.

When we went back to the hotel room that afternoon on a break I read some hearing aids reviews and decided to get some when I got home.

We got back a few days ago and I'm planning on getting some tomorrow. It's lucky that I won some money playing slots too!

Chris Jericho was giving everyone at the Night of Champions PPV on Sunday night the impression that he was done with WWE, so the fact that he worked the RAW taping last night indicates that he has either signed a new deal or is doing a few jobs before he leaves. His current deal was expected to end in October.

Think About It

In this day and age it’s really hard to find a job, much less a career that you can be proud to have and can take pride in every day that you work at it. I am still looking for a real career even at my age, which would explain my surfing the Internet to look for possibilities.

Sean Waltman has been chronicling his problems on Twitter. He said, "Some c--- stole my wallet with 1500.00 in it & my id. Got arrested for possession of half a joint's worth of weed. Former WWE performer Sean Waltman was arrested and charged with drug possession on Sunday at the Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, New Jersey.

Airport officials processed him before eventually releasing him without bail.

Last football season didn't start out so great for my school's football team but I ended up being even more proud of my alma mater after those boys stuck it out and ended up winning the conference title!

Now our football team has been notoriously bad for years and has kind of been a joke in the conference but that just goes to show you how college sports can really end up surprising you most of the time anyway. I always have season football tickets so I was glad that they really paid off last year.

One other thing that happened last season was that I noticed it was getting a little harder for me to hear what the announcer was saying and what was going on during the games. That was really frustrating during flags and explanations of penalties. I got so tired of doing that that I stopped at a miracle ear center right before the conference championship because I wanted to make sure that I would get the full experience when we won. I got some free hearing aids and the rest is history in my school's football program.

They're looking even better this year and I'm hoping for a repeat.

Lawler Closes Memphis Wrestling and Ochocinco Still Appearing on Raw

- Jerry Lawler announced on Saturday's Memphis Wrestling show that it was the last episode.

- Chad Ochocinco will still be appearing on Raw tomorrow night despite the Cincinnati Bengals' defeat at the hands of the New England Patriots today.

Matt Hardy Responds To Claims That He Was Sent Home

It was reported over the weekend that Matt Hardy was sent home from the WWE European Tour on Sunday, due to a backstage incident the night before. Hardy has posted the following video to respond to that from his hotel in Great Britain. He doesn't mention not working the final night of the tour, and says "a stooging punk" started the story

We're Off!

My wife and I are considering taking a vacation soon and the plan is, that we will go to Myrtle Beach. Now this is a place that I have always wanted to go and since my wife has joined me from the Philippines she is quite excited about it too.

So the first point of business is to find the right Myrtle Beach hotel that we can stay in and feel comfortable. So what we did was check out Myrtle Beach best hotels and decide from there and what we came to was a little website at http://www.horizonmyrtlebeach.com.

Now that my wife has taken up golf this year, we are also looking forward to a round or two of golf when we get there. After all it would practically be a sin if you visit Myrtle Beach and you don’t take your golf clubs! So we have our vacation planned friends, how about you?

Matt Hardy Sent Home

Sources within WWE have confirmed that Matt Hardy was sent home from Smackdown's European tour today. There has been concern about Matt's condition as of late, and apparently there was an event backstage on the tour yesterday that led WWE to send him home.

Matt left a house show in White Plains, New York early last week after there was concern about his condition backstage. He was scheduled to team with R-Truth against CM Punk & Luke Gallows, but after officials spoke to him, Matt left and never returned.

Mike 'Bastion Booger' Shaw Passes Away

Slam Wrestling is reporting that Mike Shaw, who was known in the wrestling world under various names, including Makhan Singh, Norman the Lunatic and Bastion Booger, and Klondike Mike, died of a heart attack on Saturday. He was 53.

Over the last number of years, Shaw was only loosely associated with the wrestling business, making the occasional appearance at fan fests under his different gimmicks.

Going to the movies- A weekend date!

Whenever my boyfriend and I are looking for a great weekend date, we always love to go to the movies. There is a great little theater just up the road from us with lots of charm, great big screens, and affordable prices. One of the best things about seeing a movie so close to home is that it requires very little planning! We can simply look up the show times online, set the home security alarm (from Adt arvada CO), and head out to see the movie.

Typically, we are both the type of people that love to laugh. Comedy is our favorite genre, although once in a while we can both go for a good old fashioned horror flick! Personally, I always like to see the scary movies because that means I get to sit extra close to my sweetheart! Pretty good plan, isn't it? To be honest, I don't think he seems to mind one bit. If you ask me, that might even be the same reason that he likes the scary movies!

At the theater, one of my favorite things is movie theater popcorn! I think that lots of people in the world agree with me there. Movie theater popcorn is like heaven in my mouth, sweet buttery goodness! There has to be some secret to how they make it taste so good! Yum Yum!

NFL Star Chad Ochocinco To Host RAW This Monday Night

WWE has announced via their Twitter page that Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco will be guest hosting next Monday's RAW from Cincinnati.

Hulk Out Of Hospital

TMZ.com is reporting that Hulk Hogan was released from the Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL earlier today. TMZ.com posted a video with Hulk in a wheelchair leaving the hospital. Hogan noted that he was going to move up his wedding date with fiancee Jennifer McDaniel, and was going to get married right away.

Jeff Jarrett recently tied the knot with Kurt Angle's ex-wife, Karen Smedley. The couple were married on August 21 at a small ceremony that few people within TNA Wrestling knew about. People within the organization discovered their marriage after Karen, more than a week later, posted photos from the wedding on her Facebook account. The two have been living together and raising their combined five children (three from Jeff's first marriage to the late Jill Jarrett; two from Karen's marriage to Kurt Angle).

Big Match Set For The Live October 7th Impact

According to PWTorch, the main match for the live episode of TNA Impact on October 7th is set to be Mick Foley vs. Ric Flair. At this time, Foley is not scheduled to be part of the Lethal Lockdown match between EV2 and Fortune at Bound For Glory.

Impact, Reaction and Superstars ratings

- The September 2nd edition of TNA Impact scored a 1.04 rating with 1,409,000 viewers.

- The September 2nd edition of TNA Reaction scored a 0.51 rating with 692,000 viewers.

- The September 2nd edition of WWE Superstars scored a 0.52 rating with 561,000 viewers.

- The replay later that evening scored a 0.17 rating with 165,000 viewers.

Counting Pennies?

It’s getting close to that time of year when my lawn service starts to slow down and I can relax a bit and enjoy my favorite past time and that’s watching television. But with my business slowing down, that means the money coming in slows down as well, so I have been thinking of changing my television provider in order to save money.

I have looked at my different options and Direct TV seems to have what I want, especially a LocalTV-Satellite because I really like my local stations for the news and such.

Hulk Hogan Hospitalized

TMZ is reporting that Hulk Hogan was taken to the hospital today, due to suffering from "excruciating back pain."

Hogan has had several back surgeries in the past and was having issues over the last few days. When he woke up today, he couldn't get out of bed. His girlfriend called the ambulance and he was taken to a local hospital in Clearwater, FL, where tests are being conducted.

Play Ball!

Everyone knows that great American past time is baseball and how awesome it is to see a game live, especially if it includes your favorite team. I’ve thought many times about some of the stadiums that I would love to see a game in and I came up with a few.

I would really love to see a game at Busch Stadium or Wrigley Field, but as I was thinking about this I was also thinking where I would like to see the World Wrestling Entertainment perform.

When it comes to wrestling the top dog of arenas would have to be Madison Square Garden, but there are other really cool places to see them as well such as American Airlines Center – TX. I guess my point is, everyone loves a live sporting event and there are so many really good places to see these events so, buy your tickets friends and catch a game!

Luna's Funeral Held - Ashes Spread At Andre The Giant's Ranch

TMZ reports that a funeral service for former WWE star Gertrude "Luna" Vachon was held Friday at the North Carolina farm owned by Andre the Giant's estate. A private service was held Saturday.

The ashes of Vachon will be scattered at the same place. The reason — it is said that Andre was her godfather. She said in a 2008 interview that Andre tried to dissuade her from entering the wrestling industry. The two were said to have been very close.

Vachon was found dead in her Florida home on August 27, where authorities discovered crushed oxycodone pills and a snorting straw. An official cause of death has not been released.

TNA's Random Drug Testing

As reported on last week, TNA held random drug testing at the iMPACT! TV tapings in Orlando. Perhaps by coincidence, names you might be suspicious of were not there (such as Rob Terry).

It should be noted that the drug testing still doesn't mean much in the company as when people have taken drug tests and failed, they were told they failed and that was the end of it.

Who Won NXT Season 2?

On Tuesday's NXT season finale from the Times Union Center in Albany, NY, Kaval was named the winner of Season 2. Kaval wins a pay-per-view match against a champion of his choice. Following his win, Kaval was attacked by the rest of the Season 2 rookies. He was saved by some of the WWE Pros before they walked off. So it appears as though we have a Nexus vs. RAW crew and a Nexus vs. SmackDown! crew now. Season 3 will start next week and will be an all-divas cast
