Adam Atherton, who performed as Rudy Parker in WWE's developmental promotion Florida Championship, apparently asked to be released from his contract earlier this month because he was denied a raise by organization officials and was therefore unable to afford to pay back his student loans.
UPDATE: Rudy Parker addressed these release rumors via his Facebook page: "Answering the question that seems to be on most people's mind...I RESIGNED b/c the WWE didn't give me the raise that i had been told about when i signed the contract. when i wasn't making enough to pay back my student loans, i had no choice but to resign."

Mick Foley Appears At Rally In Washington, DC
Mick Foley made an appearance at Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's Rally To Restore Sanity And/Or Fear in Washington, DC yesterday.
Foley got a medal for standing up for a kid who was made fun of at school early this year. He did a humor-oriented acceptance speech and appeared at the end of the rally
Bob's Opinion: I've lost alot of respect for Mick as he sucks up to the liberal progressives that want to destroy this country and as this is being plugged by most as huge, it didnt even come near to the restoring honor rally that was done by Glenn Beck (over 500,000 attended Becks rally)

Well as I said earlier my wife and I have recently traveled to the Philippines (we’re still here actually) and as we have been relaxing we have also had a lot of time to reflect on what is important in life. Triple H Makes In-Ring Return
Triple H made his in-ring return at Saturday's Fan Appreciation Supershow in Hartford, Connecticut.
Alberto Del Rio informed the crowd that his scheduled opponent, Rey Mysterio, was not on hand for the event, and that he won by forefit. Just as the referee was going to raise the SmackDown star's hand, Triple H's music cued. The Game, dressed in a t-shirt and jeans, entered the ring, and Del Rio told him he'd fight him at another time. Del Rio tried to run away, but The Game gave chase, dragging him back to ringside.
The match concluded in short order as the multi-time champion hit Del Rio with the facebreaker knee smash, spinebuster and Pedigree for the three count. Then, when Del Rio's personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez, tried to save his boss, "The King of Kings" delivered a second Pedigree.

WWE Re-Signs Val Venis
WWE has reportedly resigned Sean 'Van Venis' Morley, according to indy promoters who have attempted to book him in recent weeks.
According to a source, WWE is supposedly flying Morley to Europe on 11/7 to join up with the RAW crew. He may be coming in as an agent/producer but we're not sure about that just yet.

I still like the Cleveland Indians

It's been awhile since the 1990's and the glory years of the Cleveland Indians. The days of the packed stadiums are long gone. The days of being in the World Series seem so distant. That doesn't mean I am nay less of a fan. There are many that have turned their back on the Cleveland Indians, but not me. I still catch every game that they play on my satellite tv from www.tvbydirect.com/business-commercial-satellite-tv-deals/. It doesn't matter who they play as long as I get to see my Cleveland Indians.
Some people feel that since they aren't competitive anymore there isn't any reason to watch. Well those people are missing out on some great baseball. These players still play hard day in and day out and are a true pleasure to watch. I love watching my Cleveland Indians play baseball. No other sports teams gives me the feeling that I get when I am tuned in to my television watching the Cleveland Indians. When I am watching them i can almost smell the ballpark and the freshly cut grass. I can hear the crack of the bat as if I were right there. I can practically smell the stadium hot gods. I just love watching Cleveland Indians baseball.

WWE developmental wrestler Cable Jones, who has largely worked in a preliminary role since debuting in Florida Championship Wrestling in March, was recently repackaged as a villainous chiropractor.
During an interview segment with Ashley Valance on a recent episode of FCW Wrestling, he requested that she refer him as "Dr. Cable Jones, Chiropractor... with a specialty in pain." He then vowed to redefine the meaning of pain on all of the FCW Superstars.
The persona is based off Jones' real-life background as he graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 2008.

TNA IMPACT & WWE Superstars Ratings
Last night's episode of TNA Impact garnered a 1.13 rating with 1,484,000 viewers, down slightly from the 1.15 rating it drew last week. Reaction which proceeded it did a 0.75 rating with 934,000 viewers.
Meanwhile, last night's episode of Superstars did a 0.53 rating with 528,000 viewers.
Bob's Opinion: I am so surprised every week at TNA's ratings as the talent is so much better there then in the WWE.

A Gift
My wife and I are visiting the Philippines right now and it sure does bring back the memories of our wedding and getting prepared for it. We look through so many engagement rings to find just the right one and she still decided that she didn’t want one at that time. So instead I made sure to buy very nice wedding rings.
But now that we are hear and these memories are flooding my mind, I believe she is going to get that engagement ring anyway. I have done some research and I think I have found the perfect ring for my wife and she deserves it!

Backstage Heat On MVP - Veteran WWE Wrestlers Frustrated
There is said to be much frustration amongst the veteran WWE wrestlers not currently being pushed. Many feel they are being pushed aside due to the organization's youth movement initiative. Matt Hardy garnered a lot of sympathy with his former peers as they felt that he was among the wrestlers company officials didn't have long-term plans for.
Meanwhile, MVP developed heat backstage for moaning about the company's younger performers being promoted ahead of him.
Bob's Opinion: I do have sympathy for the guys that have been around for a long time and now aren't recieving the push they believe that they deserve. But I am also a big believer that these veterans can't carry the torch forever, so the rookies need to be used in order that they might take the sport (yes I said sport) to the next generation of fans.

The Undertaker was in attendance at UFC 121: Lesnar vs. Velasquez last night along with wife Michelle McCool. While 'Taker was acknowledged during the broadcast, McCool never was.
An interesting moment came after Lesnar was KO'd by challenger Cain Velasquez. Taker was being interviewed by MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani when Lesnar walked right by him. 'The Dead Man' asked Lesnar, "Do you want to do it?" Brock kept walking, not acknowledging his former rival.
When asked about the brief exchange, Undertaker admitted that it was personal but wouldn't go into specifics. You can watch the full exchange below.

Triple H - Return Update
Regarding World Wrestling Entertainment promoting a "one time only" appearance by Triple H at their Fan Appreciation Day Supershow in Hartford, Connecticut on Oct. 20, some took it to mean he is "coming out of retirement" for the day.
To clarify, they used the wording of their advertisement to signify that "The Game" was not returning to a regular schedule at this time, but rather merely making an appearance. That said, no one in the company broached on the subject believes he is retired.

American Gladiators - My Favorite Reality TV Show

Sometimes you just want to watch some old school reality TV. Reality TV without all the pageantry that comes with the modern crap, but reality TV that was simply about competition against steroid using bodybuilders. This is why my favorite reality TV show was and always will be American Gladiators. In this show, male and female contestants go head to head against mammoth sized weightlifters from the 1980s, the decade of unabated steroid use among people ages 20 to 35. This was the era of Arnold and Stallone, where being an action hero meant biceps the size of three trunks and pectorals like a telephone book. The competition would be full of carnival games and athletic activities that would result in bone-crushing hits, although no actually bones were crushed in the process
The best part about American Gladiators was not the muscle, nor was it about the long curly hair. American Gladiators was great because of the stars, because the contestants were just transients passing through and not fame hoarding egomaniacs. Now reality television is tainted by the constant obsession with celebrity, which to me is a far more deleterious toxin to our culture than the rampant use of amphetamines and anabolic steroids. Truly American Gladiators is the purest and greatest reality TV show of them all, and thankfully I can still watch this program on satellite TV from directstartv.com.

Update On WrestleReunion 2011
WrestleReunion will return to Los Angeles in January of 2011, and will feature Roddy Piper, Bob Orton and Paul Orndorff reuniting. Also announced for the show are Gene Okerlund, Terry Funk, Ken Patera, a reunion of Mr. Fuji and Mr. Saito (making his first ever convention appearance), Mike Graham, Savio Vega, Tatanka Chris Chavis, Tito Santana, Traci Brooks, Val Venis, TNA Knockout SoCal Val and Alicia Webb (WWF's Ryan Shamrock) and Barry O.
The weekend will include Q&A sessions as well as shows by ROH and PWG. The PWG event will feature a Legends Battle Royal, which will include Terry Funk's return to the ring.

What Happened After RAW
Post Raw: After Raw went off the air, Bret Hart's music played (for about the 4th time this evening) and he comes out to a monster pop as the special guest referee for a Fatal Four-way match: Orton vs Barrett vs Cena vs Sheamus. Barrett tells Cena he won't be competing tonight so it's down to a fatal three-way. Orton pins Barrett first and then Sheamus to retain. Nexus jumps Orton afterwards, Bret makes the save and helps Orton clear the ring. Slater is still in the ring struggling to get up, Orton readies to RKO him but gives way to Bret applying the sharpshooter instead. Bret shakes hands at ringside and show is done.

On watching WWE and TNA today: "I watch Cody Rhodes a lot since he's a good friend of mine and I've known him since he was 7. Our relationship is really special and I hope he can turn that career of his into something special. I like to watch Randy Orton. I like the fact that he does a version of the Diamond Cutter called the RKO. I think Randy is the best worker in the business. I also like to watch Edge who I think is a great worker as well. As far as TNA goes I like what they're doing with their reality show after Impact (Reaction)."
On being interested in possibly returning to WWE or TNA: "No, not really. What I'm doing now, Team YRG (fitness program) is what I want to continue doing right now. When I was in WCW I helped over 30 guys live their dream to become pro wrestlers. It was amazing, but now I'm helping people on a whole different level. I'm helping people who have self esteem issues. I'm helping people who are obese get into shape again."

Dollhouse inspiration

For my daughter's last birthday I made her this great dollhouse. I'm kind of a crafter so I had a whole lot of fun making her dollhouse for her, down to decorating all the little rooms and making the furniture for them.
My daughter loved it and has been playing with it nonstop for the past couple of months since I gave it to her. I've actually spent alot of time playing dolls with her with it too, so I've also gotten to enjoy my handiwork. But that also got me thinking abotu something else. The siding on the dollhouse looked a lot better then the siding on our own house so I called up homeproimprovement.com and put them to work.
I went with the same old color of white, so that it would keep our house looking the same and the dollhouse would still match. And the outside of our house looks so much better now!
Now I'm even more proud of our matching house and dollhouse. I don't really want to worry about updating either one any time soon.

Rumored Names For The 2011 WWE Hall Of Fame
Among those discussed this past week for induction into the 2011 WWE Hall of Fame were Bill Goldberg, Lex Luger and Ron Simmons.
Also under consideration for induction into the Hall is that of the Four Horsemen. Company officials would prefer to induct the group as opposed to solely Arn Anderson. However, the group's induction will likely hinge on whether Ric Flair re-signs with TNA Wrestling once his current expires early next year.
WWE also has strong interest in inducting Sting in the Hall of Fame, though his availability hinges on whether he re-signs with TNA Wrestling for 2011.

Fall weekend trip

We work pretty hard during the week so when it comes time for the weekend we like to get away and have a little fun. We have a lake house and a log cabin in the mountains so those both give us some fun outlets.
But we did something a little different last weekend. We were at our cabin and I found www.cleartvbundle.com/clear_internet_bundle.html and decided to switch over our internet and TV service to that for the cabin. After I did all that I was looking up some stuff online that we could do. Then I got the great idea to spend a day going on a leaves trip to look at all the leaves that are changing colors before they fall off and it starts snowing.
My wife thought it was a great idea so we spent the next day driving through the park way and on little mountain roads to get all the great views. It was really breathtaking to stop at overlooks and look down into the mountain valleys and see all the colors blended there together.

A staffer of the Bexar County, Texas, Medical Examiner's Office said of McNaught's death to The New Haven Register in Connecticut: "The cause was ruled mixed drug intoxication, complicating a cardiomyopathy." His death was ruled accidental.
The medical examiner's report does not indicate whether McNaught's use of anabolic steroids contributed to cardiomyopathy, which has been linked to steroid abuse.
Robert Zimmerman, a spokesman for World Wrestling Entertainment, told the newspaper that WWE obtained e-mails written by McNaught to a fellow wrestler, saying he had ordered two types of steroids in March and expected to fail a drug test.
McNaught was released from WWE in October 2008, then rehired in September 2009. He was sent to drug rehabilitation at his request, but was released a second time in April.

Top Star 'Expected To Be Gone' From TNA
According to a source, Sting is "expected to be gone" from TNA Wrestling following this week's set of television tapings, which were completed yesterday in Orlando, Florida.
The multi-time champion is limited by an injury to his shoulder and has not signed a new contract, so he's only committed to the organization until the end of the year. There was talk this week that he would be taking time off from this point forward.

Blueberry Pancakes
The other day I happened to turn my tv from directstartv.com to a health show that featured blueberry's as a powerful antioxidant. It was a Friday and it immediately made me think of the pancakes I'd be making the next morning. So I headed out to my local grocery store and picked up some fresh blueberries. I also figured that I may as well get the blueberry flavored syrup as well.
That Saturday I pulled out the flour, baking soda and other dry ingredients, put them all together in a bowl and mixed. Next, I pulled out 2 more separate bowls. One for the egg whites and one for all the liquids (yolk, oil, melted butter, milk and some lemon juice). After mixing up the liquids, I combined it with the dry ingredients, taking care not to over mix it because my family and I prefer our pancakes fluffy. Then I pulled out the blender and whipped up the egg whites until they were able to create soft peaks. Once that was accomplished I mixed in the whipped egg whites little by little into the big batch. Once the whites were blended in, I pulled out my fresh blueberries, threw them in and pulled out my iron griddle. After a few minutes I had 16 fluffy pancakes ready to serve. And all 4 of my family members enjoyed the added flavor of the blueberries!

RAW Rating Drops
This week's edition of WWE RAW did a 2.9 cable rating, with 4,285,000 viewers. The show did hours of 2.87 (2.9) and 2.92 (2.9).
For those wondering, the Minnesota Vikings-New York Jets NFL game on ESPN did a 12.46 rating with 17,313,000 viewers. The Atlanta Braves-San Francisco Giants MLB playoff game on TBS did a 3.4 cable rating with 4,667,000 viewers.

Hogan Reaction
A lot of people were shocked to see Hulk Hogan appear at last night's Bound for Glory pay-per-view following more surgery to his back recently. Backstage, he was said to be moving slowly and was in some discomfort, but definitely not on the same level he teased when he made his appearance last night. On his arrival at the show last night, Hogan was put into a room and stayed there until it was time for his main-event appearance as we noted earlier.
Team 3D's Futures
While Team 3D announced their retirement at Bound For Glory, it's believed both Brother Ray and Brother Devon will continue to work for TNA as singles wrestlers. This isn't confirmed but the feeling is that Devon will work as a babyface and Ray will work as a heel.

When I make a cake, I like to make it something special. You know, there is a time and a place for regualr old chocolate cake, but I just love doing special cakes and I think that the people that eat them appreciate that too.
One of the best times to come up with all kinds of new cake creations is during holiday times and I really like to take those themes and run with them! So this year I'm going to try out this new kind of cake that I'm kind of throwing together, a candy corn cake!
I got the idea the other day when I was online and saw www.clearwirelessinternet.net . Then I switched over to the internet service and while I was doing that I was snacking on my favorite fall candy, candy corn. I think that for the recipe IÕm going to take a caramel cake recipe that I have and modify it a little bit. Then IÕm also going to make it into three layers and ice them in the layers of colors of candy corn. Plus, IÕm going to make a little border of candy corn around the top edge of the cake.

Pitt Panthers

While I am not a fan of the Pitt Panthers, I am a huge fan of my brother-in-law. He is such a fan of the Panthers that he amuses the rest of us. It all started when the coach of the Miami Dolphins became their coach. Jake, my brother-in-law, thinks the sun rises and sets on Dave Wannstedt. When the NFL coach was offered the collegiate position before the 2005 season, Jake instantly became a fan of the Panthers. He now knows more about the team than most lifelong fans do. He has some nice connections at his job, so he is usually able to get several tickets for the games.
I am from Pittsburgh, so I like to go with him to the games. While he is busy being Mr. Superfan, I like to look at the different displays in the stadium and eat way too much junk food. The game is usually pretty exciting, and I have to admit after going to so many, I am slowly becoming a fan too. I used to go to the games wearing my Steelers garb, but recently I bought my first Panthers jersey. I do like it too! When I can't go to the games with him, I usually watch them on my direct.tv so we can talk about it at the next family gathering. Now if he can only get my sister to enjoy the games just as much!

WWE Bragging Rights Might Have Nothing To Brag About?
PWInsider has an article about how WWE Bragging Rights may have a tough time meeting buyrate expectations. The show takes place on October 24th, and the show is up against some stiff competition. The night before is UFC 121 with Brock Lesnar defending his UFC Heavyweight Title against Cain Velasquez, while on Sunday night it faces a football game between NFC North rivals the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers. Additionally, depending on how things play out Game Seven of the National League Championship Series is set for October 24th.

Barry Orton, Randy's uncle and best known as "Barry O" in the WWF, will make an appearance at WrestleReunion 5 this January in Los Angeles, CA. Orton has been quiet on the wrestling scene since his outspoken days during the WWF steroid scandal of the early 1990s. He'll be there with Gene Okerlund, Terry Funk, Ken Patera, a reunion of Mr. Fuji and Mr. Saito, Mike Graham, Savio Vega, Paul Orndorff, tatanka Chris Chavis, Tito Santana, Bob Orton, Traci Brooks, Val Venis, SoCal Val and Alicia Webb (WWF's Rian Shamrock).

Volunteering at my kids school is always a great experience. before leaving home I always set my alarm first that I found on http://www.allhomesecurity.com/home-security-systems/. I love to spend time with my kids, so any free time I have I try to visit there schools, and see what they are up to.
Visiting there school gives me the opportuniy to see how they are doing in school. and keep up with whats going on. I am able to have a beeter understanding of how everything works.
My kids love when I come to visit, and can't wait to tell there friends that I am coming. I spend my time there reading books to the class, and helping them with there daily assignments. It gives me bonding time with my kids, as well as getting to know there friends, and teachers.
Volunteering is something that all parents, should do to show there kids how much they care and that the are interested in what thet are doing at school. It will make your child feel that you are truly invested in there future.

Self Storage
My wife and I lately have been accumulating more and more things around the house and it’s getting to a point that we have to squeeze through to get from one room to another. So we sat down recently and decided that it’s time to take some of this stuff and put it into Self Storage.
It makes perfect sense, especially for pack rats like us. We do tend to keep everything and even what we get rid of takes real effort. So, self storage sounds like the right way to go for us. Perhaps it’s something that you have done or are in the process of doing.
If you have put your things in storage before or you are storing them now, let us know and let us know what you think about it. I for one feel very good about doing this because we may not get to keep our things among us at home, we at least get to keep these things.
We’ve already started a list of things to go into storage and it is a long list, but thank God for storage because I really like my stuff! Well friends, I’m off to add to my list.

The Cena/Nexus storyline is apparently using the Virgil/Ted DiBiase from the 1990s as a road map, with the idea being that the way Cena is treated will get the fans behind him to snap and attack Wade Barrett. WWE Creative has an endpoint to the angle but the majority will be booked week-to-week
Something Different
Have you ever wondered where real estate agents and companies come up with their real estate business card, or real estate post cards? I know, this is coming out of the blue, but sometimes I just think about things where most people wouldn’t even have that idea cross their minds.
Anyway, now that I brought this up we may as well discuss it, don’t you think? It just seems awesome to me how they come up with the ideas of the logo and artwork and then take that idea and put it on a business card and I honestly believe that it helps their business, because it catches the eye of the person holding it.
I would love to be so creative that I could take the credit of coming up with these ideas for these business type cards, because I believe in their own right, they are geniuses. Everyone has a talent and I guess this is one talent that I envy a bit because I always wanted to be creative in an artistic way and I believe this is a very artistic thing.
Let me know what you think friends, have you ever really looked at one of these cards? Pretty cool, isn’t it?

Why Edge Was Traded To SD!
It was announced during RAW that Edge had been traded to the SmackDown! brand. Though it was not disclosed who would be heading to RAW in exchange for the "Rated-R Superstar," new information released indicates it being CM Punk.
A new match line-up has been issued for Friday's Raw live event at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Edge has been replaced on the card by Punk, who will be facing R-Truth.

It's Halloween!
It’s October friends and that can really mean only one thing, it’s Halloween party season! If you haven’t found your Halloween costumes yet, well now is the time. I have always loved Halloween and I am really looking forward to this year’s party because I found a place that has really Awesome Halloween Costumes!
It seems every year I walk into the Halloween party and everyone turns my way because I am very careful of the costume that I choose. I always choose a costume that no one else would even think of to wear, and several years I have disguised myself so well that no one even knew it was me until I let them in on the secret.

Former WWE talent Ed Leslie (a/k/a Brutus Beefcake) said on the Miami sports talk radio show The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz Friday that he's joining Hulk Hogan in TNA Wrestling. He noted they're going to be "starting from scratch and going nWo style." It should be noted that he's said this before and nothing has ever happened. As of last word, TNA wasn't interested.
HBK Hints At A WWE Return
This is from soneone that attended the autograph session with Shawn Michaels today at Cabela's in Kansas City. It was great and he actually talked to the fans, and wasn't rushed like other autograph sessions that I have attended so this was a great one and it was awesome. I was behind a few fans when one of them asked: "Is their any chance of you coming back to wrestle again?" He said: "Probably not, but I may come back for something else."
That Time Of The Year
Winter is coming on friends, and it’s time to get prepared for the slick and snowy roads that we will soon be driving on. One answer to our problems could be tire chains. When looking for said tire chains we of course want to find that best that would ensure the safety of all of those on the road.
