Contrary to the belief that Booker T was being brought to WWE as both a wrestler and an announcer, sources are reporting that his role going forward has yet to be determined, but the belief is that he'll primarily be used as a manager.

Alberto Del Rio triumphed over 39 other competitors in the biggest Rumble in WWE history to earn the opportunity to headline WrestleMania XXVI in a World Championship Match of his choosing on April 4, 2011 in Atlanta.

Bob's Opinion: Del Rio is a great international star, but having him in the main event is making Wrestlemania looking dull this year

Lucky Texas

My wife and I have been doing our spring-cleaning early this year and when my wife does spring cleaning, she really goes all out in doing it. So we have spent the week before doing research to find the help that we need in doing some of the more specific chores that will come about.

In doing the research, I find myself wishing that I was living in Texas, because they have the right people for the jobs that my wife has lined up, from tile cleaning and sealing austin to the top carpet cleaning companies austin has to offer.

Absent TNA Star Returning Shortly?

Hernandez has finished his duties with Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) and is expected to resurface on TNA Wrestling programming shortly.

The former TNA World Tag Team Champion was sent to AAA last March as part of a talent exchange. He last appeared for TNA at Victory Road, defeating Matt Morgan in a Steel Cage Match.

TNA Lockdown Likely Headed To Cincinnati

As many suspected yesterday, the reason that TNA sent out the press release that offered Chad Ochocinco a Steel Cage match is because TNA is planning to run their annual Lockdown PPV in Cincinnati.

An official announcement is expected next month, and there are also plans to run a fan interaction event during that weekend.

Bob's Opinion: that is good news for me, I live 40 minutes from Cincinnati!

Major Royal Rumble Surprises Set

-- Two 'legends' are reportedly scheduled for Sunday's 40-Man Royal Rumble Match. Another wrestler that would be considered a surprise is also set to appear. You can likely guess who that person is as he's been expected to return for quite some time now.

-- There is also a rumor floating around that Awesome Kong will make her WWE debut at the Royal Rumble during the Natalya-LayCool Divas title match.

Bob's Opinion: This is NOT confirmed by any means just yet.

Getting In Shape

I will tell you friends, lately I had been feeling my age, and I thought that it’s time to do something about that, such as, get back in shape. So my wife and I sat down and set up some workout routines for me.

These workout routines consist of using weights and of course some good cardio workout routines as well. I can’t tell you how much better that I feel since I’ve started all of these workouts. I am toning up and not feeling my age as much as I was before.

So as always friends, you know how I love to give advice, do yourself a favor and start working out. You’ll thank me someday for it!

Triple H's WWE Creative Powers

Triple H was interviewed by Heavy Muscle Radio this morning. In the interview, he noted that he has almost nothing to do with the creative end of the company right now. He said that he is in the office most of the time learning the other aspects of the business and that he is not in writers' meetings during the week. He then went onto mention that he has run TV shows but is involved minimally with creative at this time. He does attend the TV tapings and also said that he is more of a special attraction wrestler right now rather than a full time guy, but also that he is there if they need him.

Great Khali Involved In Shooting Incident

There was an incident earlier today in India involving The Great Khali's bodyguard shooting into a crowd as Khali was arriving at the home of a Deputy Speaker of the Punjab State Assembly. Khali had been invited to show up and was "besieged" by fans looking for autographs. Reports say that Khali's bodyguard was "hostile" to the fans and started to shove at the crowd and physically attacked a boy. When others tried to intercede, the bodyguard pulled a gun and shot into the crowd.

Khali reportedly fled the scene, and there were said to be three "serious" injuries stemming from the incident.

Bob's Opinion: this could hurt in more ways then one

Triple H's WWE Future In Question

According to sources within WWE, the general feeling backstage is that Triple H will be winding down his in-ring career later this year and will focus more on backstage stuff and corporate issues. That doesn't mean he'll be retiring from in-ring competition but will scale back on the amount of in-ring wrestling he does. It also depends on how well he recovers from this latest injury. One source notes that in addition to "H" starring in his own WWE Studios film, he has also been learning more on WWE's marketing strategies.

Triple H Vs. 'Taker Discussed For WrestleMania 27

Providing that The Undertaker is healthy enough to compete in a singles match at WrestleMania XXVII, there has been talk of "The Deadman" facing his opponent at WrestleMania X-Seven, Triple H.

Shawn Michaels as the bout's special guest referee has also been discussed. He recently stated that he reached a new contractual agreement with WWE, but would not be returning the ring as a wrestler. He did not, however, rule out special appearances or becoming an on-air character at some point.

Getting Away From It All

My wife and I have been looking for a new vacation spot lately as all of this snow is really getting us down and we need something to pick up our spirits. After much researching and trying to figure out what would be the best place for us to go we decided on the Pollensa area of Spain's Balearic Islands and staying in one of the HomeAway Holiday-Rentals.

We found all we needed to know like where we can find apartments in Pollensa. We also found the Spain travel guide which will really come in handy because we really do want to see as much of it as we can while we are there.

I recommend you take some time in your lives to vacation, maybe even check out Pollensa area of Spain's Balearic Islands it might be right for you too!

TNA Star Alex Shelley Injured

Motor City Machine Gun member Alex Shelley reportedly suffered a broken collarbone at yesterday's TNA Wrestling live event in Hagerstown, Maryland.

Shelley's band, The High Crusade, confirmed on their Facebook that Shelley suffered a broken collarbone on Sunday.

Chris Sabin and Petey Williams are also in the band.

New Floors!

It’s almost that time, my wife and I have been working about the house and getting things prepared, in order to have our new carpet laid as soon as possible. Now friends, when Bob wants to do something, what is the first thing he does on accomplishing that goal? You are absolutely right, research the project.

Kimbo Slice Headed To Pro Wrestling

Backstage Snickering Over Matt Hardy To TNA Wrestling

Some in the TNA Wrestling locker room instantly began snickering over Matt Hardy upon his debut last week at Genesis. One wrestler felt that Hardy looked out of shape and compared his modified appearance to Raven's. Wrestlers were also chatting about his state of mind throughout the day.

Though it was largely believed that Matt Hardy would join TNA following his departure from WWE, some within the company were surprised he was signed. Management indicated they had a full roster and weren't looking to acquire new talent.

FCW Champion Mason Ryan Debuts As Newest Member Of Nexus

Barri Griffiths, aka FCW Champion Mason Ryan, debuted on RAW as the newest member of Nexus. He is a former Gladiators competitor and has held the FCW Championship since this past July, when he defeated defending champion Alex Riley and Johnny Curtis by pinning Riley in a triple threat match.

During the RAW main event between CM Punk and John Cena tonight, Ryan appeared on the apron and distracted Cena, allowing Punk to recover. Ryan came in the ring and Punk stretched his arms out. Ryan proceeded to run the ropes and clothesline Punk. He then picked up Cena and dropped him with a big slam. Nexus hit the ring but Punk told them to hold off. Punk stared Ryan down, and Ryan then dropped to one knee as Punk put a Nexus armband on him, welcoming him to the group. The show went off the air with Nexus and their new member posing with their fists in the air.

CM Punk Assaulted By Fan During WWE Live Event

CM Punk was attacked by a fan during a WWE RAW house show in Shreveport, LA last night. During a match with Mark Henry, Punk was outside the ring taunting fans when a young fan reached out and struck him.

Punk then grabbed the fan, which led to others trying to get involved including the parents. Several fans were tossed out of the show. There are conflicting reports about how old the fan was - a teenager or younger.

After the match, Punk had to be checked out for a possible eye injury as officials were worried he scratched his cornea

I Can See Clearly Now

Well friends, it’s that time of the year again, time to get my eyes examined and put out all of that money for new glasses. I was sitting at the computer recently and I was thinking about this coming up and wished that there was a place that I could get my eye glasses at a price that would drain my bank account.

Well friends, my wife has started her new business and it has been up and running since November of last year. She is so proud of all that she has accomplished in such a small time period and now she wants to take it a step forward and that step would deal with catching the attention of more people and letting them know exactly what she is up to.

The Latest On Triple H's WWE Return

The latest issue of WWE Magazine has a story on Triple H which includes an interview. In it he says, "If I can't do this the way I feel like I should be able to, then I want to be done. And I don't want to come back here and tarnish that. I don't want to do the nostalgia run where I come out and say I'm the greatest in the world." He noted that when he got into WWE, he was one of a few new guys and there were a lot of veterans, and now it is the opposite. He says that he and the Undertaker are guys who don't need a championship to be a main event guy and that John Cena is getting to that same level now

The Latest Jeff Hardy Legal Updates

Jeff Hardy spoke to TMZ yesterday about his ongoing drug trial. You can check out video by clicking here.

TMZ notes that cops found 262 Vicodin pills, 180 Somas and 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, as well as a residual amount of powder cocaine, in Hardy's home in North Carolina.

Hardy said he is going to plead guilty to a lesser charge as part of a deal to get a lighter sentence, saying, "I'll make the best of it, bro."

Hardy is due in court on January 20th. He said, "It's been a long while ... but it should get to an end soon."

My Library Fun

Now that I am retired, I find myself getting a little stir-crazy. When brainstorming things to do, I decided that I wanted to read more. When I was working full-time it felt like I barely had any time to read when I got home at nights. There was always something else to be done around the home and with my family. In an attempt to save money, I have gotten acquinted with my local library and I got myself a library card. On any given day of the week, I will take a long walk into town with a book bag and find a few books for the week!

Going to the library has also become a social thing. A few of my local friends are avid readers, and IÕve found myself meeting up with them at the library and talking for a considerable amount of time. IÕm glad I just got a new pair of Digital Hearing Aids. They have really helped me maintain a social life at the library and around town. IÕm glad I found a new, low-cost hobby for myself. I can finally catch up on all the classics I never read!

WWE Interested In Sting?

The Sun has posted an article claiming that WWE is plotting to swoop the multi-time World Champion from TNA Wrestling. They say with WrestleMania taking place in WCW's former home of Atlanta this year, Vince McMahon wants Sting to be a part of the show and inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Though still listed on the TNA Wrestling website, Sting is presently a free agent after his contract with the organization expired late last year. Most expected him to re-sign w/ TNA though so we'll see what happens in the next few weeks

Bob's Opinion: I really would be surprised to see Sting sign any kind of deal with the WWE

Former ECW Star Valentino 'Big Val' Puccio Dies

Valentino "Big Val" Puccio passed away yesterday at the age of 45. No cause of death is immediately available, but Puccio had been battling obesity for years and was even shown on the reality program Inside the Brookhaven Obesity Clinic for TLC.

Puccio competed for ECW back in 1995, as a monster heel against Mikey Whipwreck and others.

Bob's Opinion: So sorry for "Big Val's" family's loss

Fan Suing WWE, Triple H & The Rock For 2000 Incident

According to an article by The Courier Journal out of Louisville, Kentucky, a man, age 18, is suing World Wrestling Entertainment, Triple H and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson for an injury he allegedly suffered in 2000. The man was age 7 at the time, and the incident allegedly happened at the 2000 Judgment Day PPV, headlined by HHH vs. The Rock in an Iron Man match.

The article states that when HHH and Rock brawled into a crowd, the crowd caused a chain reaction that ended with a woman falling atop of the then-seven year old. This allegedly caused knee and leg injuries. The plaintiff, named Basham in the article, recently had to have surgery on the knee. His attorney is claiming that there is no statue of limitations for filing the lawsuit since Basham was a minor when he was allegedly injured. The lawsuit accused WWE of failing to properly stage the match and provide adequate security for its customers. HHH and Johnson are named in the suit and accused of "reckless, willful and wanton conduct."

The suit was filed on Monday, and WWE has so far declined to respond to media requests on the lawsuit.

Bob's Opinion: Sure did wait a long time to file a law suit, sounds like BS to me

Undertaker's Wrestlemania Status

WWE plans to book Wade Barrett against the Undertaker for Wrestlemania, but this depends entirely on Taker's condition. If the match is to go ahead, it's likely he'll return to do segments, but won't wrestle until closer to the event.

They'll be playing off the ending of the Buried Alive match at Bragging Rights where the Nexus attacked.

Bob's Opinion: Sorry, but I don't think Wade Barrett would be a suitable opponent for 'Taker

One of the best things about the holidays in my opinion is splurging more than you usually do, within reason of course. That's the time when you go for that piece of pie that you normally wouldn't or have an extra cup of eggnog for the fun of it. Well, I'm hoping that when my friends come over to my place for New Year's Eve that they'll feel free to splurge within reason because I already have a few designated drivers lined up for the night.

I've been looking up all kinds of New Year's cocktails to fix for the party, but one thing that I'm making sure of that they're light on alcohol so that people don't get too rowdy and crazy. One night when I was looking up recipes that are a little lighter on alcohol, I came across some stuff about satellite internet packages and after I got some more info, I actually ordered one of them for my home.

I was trying to find the ultimate New Year's Eve drink besides champagne and foudn a few cocktails that I thought would be appropriate.

Alberto Del Rio was on RAW last night because they have big plans for him, and also because they are hoping to "introduce" SmackDown! talents on RAW with the hope that more fans will follow over to watch SmackDown!.

Bob's Opinion: For those of you that are real "old school" wrestling fans, it's an interesting note that Alberto Del Rio is actually Dos Caras Jr, son of Dos Caras and nephew of Mil Mascaras.

John Cena Banged Up

John Cena was reportedly "banged up" before he suffered an injury to his hip during a match with Wade Barrett at last Tuesday's RAW live event in Philadelphia. It is the latest in a series of minor injuries the WWE Superstar is suffering from. Nonetheless, he is expected back any week now.

Top SmackDown Star Lands Role In Nickelodeon Series

The Big Show has landed a role in the Nickelodeon series Supah Ninjas.

Supah Ninjas is about a group of High School kids who are also ninjas.

A casting call went out today, for a stand in for Big Show, looking for a "Caucasian male 6'9' or taller who is 400 to 475lbs."

Bob's Opinion: The Big Show has so much talent in so many fields, I wish him the best of luck

Top RAW Star Drafted To SD!

Wade Barrett showed up at tonight's WWE SmackDown! tapings, and attacked The Big Show.

According to a source, the move is a permanent one, and there will be no face turn for Barrett.

There will also be no follow-up to the CM Punk-RAW-Nexus angle.

Bob's Opinion: But it could be a possiblity that this is just another Pre-Wrestlemania crossover

Needing insurance is just a fact of life these days and finding the right insurance can be difficult at times.
