News on Punk & Vince's Relationship
Regarding Punk and Vince McMahon, it's said that Punk now has Vince's ear when it comes to ideas. It was described as similar to Shawn Michaels year ago when he began moving up in the company and Vince would bounce ideas off Shawn, or Shawn would suggest ideas to Vince.

"Live on Raw, CM Punk will address the WWE Universe for the first time since returning with his WWE Title one week earlier. Also on Monday night, WWE COO Triple H will make a decision regarding the WWE Title controversy."
Bob's Opinion: RAW has been great lately (but then it didn't take much to get better from what they were showing)

Have You Ever Wondered?
Have you ever wondered where these professional wrestlers that I write so much about get clothes that fit them? Some pro wrestlers are quite huge, so I guess it makes me wonder just how they find clothes that might fit them. I did some surfing online lately, with this in mind, and I can only venture to guess that big and tall jeans might be what these gentlemen shop for the most.
I’ve done a little research on some of the places that sell just this type of merchandise and I am quite convinced that these are the only places that a giant of a man that is in the professional wrestling business can go to get his clothing. Being a specialty type shop, you know that the garments that they sell are quality merchandise for sure.
So that mystery has been somewhat solved and we’ve all seen how well dressed these gentleman are so perhaps if you know someone that is of this stature, you may just point him toward this shop and they could be sporting new clothes that fit them comfortable and true. Well friends, I am off to make my recommendation to some of my big and tall friends, hope you will be doing the same.

Shad Gaspard Innocent
Charges against Shad Gaspard for “jay-walking” have been dropped by Columbus, Ohio police. The former WWE star was on the receiving end of a multi-cop arrest, allegedly for jaywalking and resisting an officer while walking to the Arnold Fitness EXPO with UFC fighter Josh Barnett earlier this year.
Bob's Opinion: Several eye witness claimed Gaspard did nothing wrong, which now proves to be correct.

John Cena Is About To Make WWE History
As of today, June 29th, John Cena has spent 1,028 days as WWE Champion. This includes all 9 of Cena's reigns with the Title.
Today is significant because Cena surpasses Pedro Morales who spent 1,027 days as WWE Champion. Cena right now is in the #4 spot for most days spent as WWE Champion behind #3 Bob Backlund, #2 Hulk Hogan and #1 Bruno Sammartino(4,040 days!) This is only for the WWE Title, not the World Heavyweight Title.
Bob's Opinion: Congrats!

Sin Cara removed from Summerslam PPV poster
Sin Cara has been removed from the WWE Summerslam poster. R-Truth is now replacing him.
As for Sin Cara's status with WWE following his 30 day suspension, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported this week that a number of people within WWE are under the impression that the company has decided to "cut bait on him." The writing team wasn't told until a day or two before the Money in the Bank PPV last Sunday that he needed to be written out and were also told to not "put any thought into any scenarios for him going forward." It should be noted that it wasn't made clear he was being released, but the tone seemed to indicate it.

Sgt.Slaughter on WWE Title run as a Iraqi sympathizer
New York Times best-selling author Kevin Sullivan is featuring a number of extra excerpts that didn't make his "The WWE Championship" book over at Kevinsullivanbooks.com.
His latest features extra quotes with Sgt. Slaughter who talked about his run as WWE Champion being brought back and booked as a heel Iraqi sympathizer.
"It wasn't difficult for me to make the transition. I had left WWE to go work for Hasbro to be a GI Joe. When that contract was over, Vince McMahon called me and said "are you ready to go back to work?" Come to my home tomorrow; I have an idea for you. I was thinking that he was going to take the real American hero to all types of different avenues that have never been reached with Hasbro. I sat down with my family that night and told them it was going to be a big meeting and I'm sure when I get back, we will have all sorts of things to celebrate. When I got to his house, he had the complete opposite idea. He wanted to make me the worst bad guy of all time because he needed an opponent for Hogan for WrestleMania VII. So I listened to what he had to say. He said he wanted me to be an Iraqi sympathizer and side with Saddam and look at the Americans as weak.
Here we are the most powerful country in the world and here's a small country like Iraq pushing them around. It sounded good to me. The more he talked, the more I liked it. He told me to go home and talk to my family because it was going to be pretty rough. I talked to my family that night and they all thought I was crazy. They said it was impossible for Sgt. Slaughter to do that. I said that anything is possible in sports-entertainment. Plus Vince told me that the fans would always forgive you when you ask them to.
So we went for it ... I didn't have any particular direction that I was going. Then all of a sudden the ultimate puke and Randy Savage were in a program and Randy was trying to get the title and Randy broke his arm or wrist or hand and so all of a sudden Vince came to me and said I hope you're ready."
Bob's Opinion: It definitely was rough for him! He and his family recieving death threats..scary stuff

His latest features extra quotes with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin on his final run as the WWE Champion - the same night Chris Jericho became the first ever Undisputed Champion.
"I remember being very fried. That was a complete phone-in job and I didn't even phone it in; hell, I got hung up on. That was one of my worst performances ever. I'm honest enough to say that I didn't really give a shit what happened that night. And it wasn't about losing the belt either, because I really like Jericho I consider him a friend. It didn't have anything to do with anybody in the ring. I was just totally frazzled, I was running hard in every direction and I just wanted that night to be over. I definitely didn't need the belt at that time because I was too damn tired. We were running hard. I was living pretty fast. I was physically and mentally scrambled. I don't have a lot of memories of that match other than I stunk."

Here is the interview from The Record that Sin Cara did about his WWE suspension. Credit goes to Billy Krotchsen and Pwinsider.com
The Record: Are you surprised by this situation?
Sin Cara: Why did they suspend me? They haven't told me anything.
Record: How did you find out?
Cara: I found out just now.
Record: What do you think happened? You're one of the guys who has had a lot of success there.
Cara: I'm going to talk to them to find out what's going on because they told me [wait] until tomorrow.
Record: You're talking with them tomorrow to clear this up? How has this affected you?
Cara: Well yeah, they haven't told me anything bad. This hasn't affected me because they would have told me something.
Record: Why did they suspend you?
Cara: I don't know. What happened is I have pain and I injected something, I think it caused the test to be positive, they didn't tell me anything. Supposedly steroids but lots of medications have steroids.
Record: What body part did you inject? Is this some type of injury?
Cara: It's an injection I normally get in Mexico.
Record: Oh so something you've done previously? What body part?
Cara: My knee.
Record: The same one that's been giving you small problems here and there?
Cara: Yes.
Record: So you're going to meet them and get more information.
Cara: Yes.
Record: Do you have a date on when you'll be back?
Cara: No, like I said they haven't told me anything, I just found out but I'd like to know. They told me not to worry about anything, nothing is going on, that we'd talk tomorrow, that's all they told me. I think until I talk to them tomorrow I'll know what's going on.
Record: Do you have a message for your fans?
Cara: Thanks for their support, the fans know I'm not a drug addict, much less am I taking anything. I'm not sure what happened, it looks like it was from the medication, let's wait and see what happens. Because my body doesn't really look like it's on steroids, If this were a drug thing they would have fired me. I've very grateful for the public's support and we'll wait and see what happens.
NOTE FROM BILLY: Interesting to note that the actual article quoted Cara as stating that the company told him there would be a suspension due to the politics of the company, but Cara actually never stated that in the audio, so the newspaper may have added that in on their own. Cara did not state that at any point in the audio of the interview.
Bob's Opinion: Now tell me that this doesnt have your attention?
Cara: Yes.
